I understand but we all know that Europe is doing more to extend the war than ending it. Let's say Trump is not in the scene which European leaders have spoken to Putin before Trump came? Or which one is bold enough to meet him

The war in Ukraine exposed a lot of divisions between the Europeans, especially the fragile state the transatlantic alliance would be without the US.
Sadly no country in Europe can guarantee the security of Ukraine without the commitment of the US.
It also depicts how much the Europeans rely on the US for security.
The cracks in Brussels are very clear to the discerning eye.

This is wrong, it’s an American war. It started in 2014 Ukrainian coup d'etat by Victoria nuland, there’s a famous leaked call of her saying F Europe. Trump acting like a dumb peace maker actually armed and prepared Ukraine for this war. He even bragged about it in the White House, telling Zelensky he’s ungrateful. The deep state was so invested in Ukraine that tump was impeached for trying to stop the weapons flow. The USA wants peace now because they have been demilitarised . Europe doesn’t matter, they don’t even have a capable ISR or weapons stockpile. Europe just hates Russia but always gets their behind handed to them like Napoleon and Hitler.

I think you missed the point, even though the Americans indirectly orchestrated the war, the war is still happening in Europe, which makes it very much a problem for Europe, they should have a say except if they are vassals.

The Americans have threatened to pull support if the Europeans don't workout a peace plan, then Europe would bear the financial burden alone.

Europe is only interested in a cease-fire because the US threatened to stop it's involvement.
