God bless you. What you identify is a major reason it is taking an agonisingly long period of time for Nigeria to get where she needs to be.

Imagine a nation with many, as if under a voodoo spell, determined to whitewash the image of a man whose well-recorded history screams mediocrity and failure?

Even here on NL we have the likes of Owobokiri and Mr.Vitalis , plus many others, who were very critical of Obi and condemned him as unfit to lead in the past.

Yet, when the possibility of him helping them achieve an Igbo presidency seemed viable, they all started waxing lyrical about Obi they thoroughly vilified in the past.

No doubt you are correct concluding "we are breeding too many dull citizens" in Nigeria today. I would add bigoted to the dull meaning "double wahala for dead body " i.e Nigeria .

As a Yoruba man, peter obi can never be my president

Do you understand the meaning of disgrace at all? If you ask sensible people, they will never see that as a win. That is what they call labouring in vain. Winning that couldn't carry him to Aso rock is good as a wastage. Obi winning Lagos with less than 10,000 votes due to some Yoruba christians that feared Muslim Muslim ticket and some mega churches that indirectly not supporting muslim-muslim ticket out of fear can't happen again.

Obi can not win Lagos again because there is no longer fear of muslim-muslim ticket. Obi can not win Abuja because of Wike outstanding performance. Obi can not win southern Kaduna again because of Tinubu inclusive governance to them and relegation of El-rufai to ADC. Obi can not win up to votes he won in south south because many of their leaders are now in APC to work for Tinubu. Serial loosers don't understand what rigging is all about. Election is not rigged once they win, but rigged once they loose. With close to 70 lawyers of Obi, they couldn't still prove how they won that election. Get prepared as usual to shout "they rig" again in 2027 since you sing that as song once you loose, and because you will loose again with wide margin.

Bruv, most of these guys are driven by ethno-religious hatred for others. This is why they never see the position of other and what they want.

Like fundamentalists, uncompromising anarchists and haters, what they want is all they allow to influence their mindset.

If not, then why will the instructive words of many SS leaders like Governor Eno, who see Tinubu as their friend and partner in progress, go ignored by Obidients who continue to insist South-South region will follow Obi ,as they did in 2027, when Tinubu has proven, with action, he is the President to empower the region optimally?

They know what they are doing. I honestly at this point don’t know which is more dangerous to the country. 1) The bigots who would saddle the country with a man like Obi just to achieve a psychological tribal agenda, 2) those who claim to be educated have no tribal agenda but genuinely believe such a man with his track record on show is not only a saint but a messiah! 3) Those blinded so much by hatred of Tinubu or possibly Yorubas in general that they overlook or not examining the credentials or track record of the man the call the alternative.

Either of the above it is difficult to see how the brain was engaged. I don’t have a problem if people are opposed to Tinubu, that’s normal and expected but for the sake of the country for God’s sake, find someone else, someone credible.

I’m yet to see a single throwback tweet praising Obi for showing exemplary leadership when he was governor. I am sure if such exists, for every one of such, there would be thousands critical of his leadership
