There's more fire in the opposition than in the coalition but there's fire everywhere. Gej coming into this equation is really game changer. Peter Obi I believe will humble himself to queue behind him and accept a strong ministerial role but Atiku will die a natural death in politics and emilokan will relocate back to Idagbiji. I will support Gej over PO because he has been a player who made some mistakes and have also been a spectator at the same time so he knows the mistakes and how to deal with them now. If there is someone to put us back in the right track quicker, it is him. PO as president will start learning the roles for almost a year and that gives him 3yrs to actually start working but Gej will go to work on day one. I'm Peter Obi supporter but I'm not a blind one.

You really are not a Peter Obi supporter if you cannot see the danger that GEJ's rumoured emergence portends for his political career.

Firstly, by contesting in 2027, Peter Obi's support base which is the SOUTH EAST & SOUTH SOUTH will be eroded. A GEJ's candidacy will beat him hands down anywhere in those 2 zones. Which means if GEJ is on the ballot, he wouldn't even contest talk less of standing a chance to win.

Secondly, let's assume he crosses over to GEJ's camp and team up with him. It means after GEJ's 4 years, power will shift to the North for another 8 years. Are you telling me that Peter Obi will wait 4 + 8 years before realizing his ambition? I laugh in Puerto Rico language!

Well, you're right in your assertion sha.

Among all the present day Politicians, Peter Obi seems better. However, being better is not enough, without the political machinery, his dream of becoming the president will remain a mirage. It's for the same reason the likes of GANI FAWEHINMI didn't elected.

As regards YAR'ADUA, I still don't understand the hype about him o. I followed his administration when he was the governor of Katsina state and there wasn't much progress. Other than stability, I don't think he achieved much in terms of infrastructure. And as Nigerian president, we couldn't judge him much due to his prolonged absence as a result of his failing health.

Apart from his high-handedness, Obasanjo's administration seems the best to me. The economy was good, the country was a bit safe, there was a little bit of infrastructural development and Nigerians (both home & abroad) weren't treated this badly.
