I am absolutely not tribalistic like some. I tell people I am not a Rivers man but a Nigerian. If I become President, that's the first thing I will do; to change the Constitution from indigeneship to citizenship, so that wherever you are, you are a citizen of that place. You don't have to be a citizen of Ikwerre or be an indigene of Rivers State. If I become President, I will give 50% of my cabinet, that is 25% for elders and 25% for women. The other 50% of youths - 25% for men and 25% for women. People know me that I hire and fire. I am not one of those whose wife will come to intercede, I have no time for sentiments. You are judged by performance.

Very interesting. It is good he has voiced out his mind very early enough. This point he has raised is bad market.


But then, till date I really dont understand why some people who obviously have no chance of winning election choose to run for office. Even a child knows that Ameachi stands no chance at all.

Peter Obi is the only Presidential candidate that is ready to take quick decisive action on major issues in Nigeria. He doesn't hide from the press, which is a quality any President should have to constantly reassure the citizens that he understands the reality on ground and has a plan.

Any President who avoids the press creates uncertainty especially with investors who don't want to be guessing what the plan is and how they're being tackled. Without investor confidence, investments and economic growth will slow down and jobs will suffer.

No president can singlehandedly do that withiout the knowledge or help of the indigenous people, the fact that Buhari was unable to achieve Ruga scheme is more than enough for this man to learn from.

Amaechi did better than any other governor during his era in Nigeria.
He was the best performing governor in Nigeria and as a minister under buhari for 8 years he was the best performing minister in buhari government

Someone quote the section of the Constitution he's referring to. These guys just blame the constitution for issues they created at the state and local level. These journalists should really start asking follow up questions so these lying / ignorant politicians can be forced to think about their positions.
