Does God Kill, Does It Make Sense For God To Kill? by oridavid(op): 10:47am On Aug 09, 2025
There has been a theological debate whether God kills or not. Some say God kills because he's sovereign while others say God kills out of justice. However, looking at the scripture and especially understanding God through Christ, it becomes inconsistent for God to kill and also have all the attributes reckoned with him.

For example, a God whose mercy endureth forever should have no need to kill a person.

Also, we look at the dynamics of the world, if God call kill, why does he allow evil individuals to run rampage in the world, why don't he kill them out of his divine justice?

Watch as we critically analyze some biblical texts which is believed to support the idea that God kills.

Stop talking rubbish. If killing of bandits and bad people is good then God's killing in good affirms His Goodness and Uprightness.

Not to talk of the fact that He has a Right to kill. So just go and wait for your turn

Death is an illusion....

It does not exist.

Life is all there is..and that is what God sees.

Killing is the general language but God cut off some evildoers temporarily until the judgment day.
WHY?
Because it's until the judgment day that God will destroy all evildoers forever but most of the people dying now will be brought back to answer for perfection on the judgment day.
Most people who died in the time of Noah will be brought back to life and many that died in Sodom and Gomorrah will too there unrighteousness or sins is not enough to judge them because they were cut off while they acted due to their imperfect conditions so they need to be raised back to life, live under a good condition where there is justice, perfect government, perfect atmosphere, abundance of food, no health issues, nothing like aging or fear of dying, peace with all animals under the reign of Jesus Christ for a thousand years.
After that Satan will be given the chance to do the same thing he did to Adam and Eve when they both have everything at their finger tips. It's then that whoever follows Satan will be killed or destroyed along with Satan forever.
Until then they are still sleeping in their graves awaiting resurrection.

Unfortunately for people who lived during our era (after Jesus) majority will not be resurrected after their death.
WHY?
Because Christianity has come in our own time the preaching and teaching about what God wants to do for mankind has been heard throughout the earth so whoever has the opportunity to meet not misinformed churchgoers but Jesus' true disciples yet treated them badly it will not be the same case for him like those people who were cut off back then in Noah's day or Sodom and Gomorrah {Matthew 10:14-15} so if you have ever treated preachers badly in times past go on your knees now and beg God for forgiveness you will know you've done this in two ways:
(1) When you treated preachers badly and someone else call you to order.
(2) When your conscience disturbs you. Romans 2:14-15

Jesus' true disciples are almost everywhere now preaching zealously and industriously teaching honest hearted people in your neighborhood so try to engage them in discussions, argue with them, question their beliefs and listen to what they have to say but most importantly humbly welcome what you know there is no better way to do it {Zephaniah 2:2-3} your salvation now is in discussing with Jesus' disciples while angels are penning down the names of those engaging in scriptural discussions {Malachi 3:16} because in the last days if your name is not found in that book! Revelations 20:15
May you have peace!

He is the giver of life. He is allowed to take it, no big deal.

The statements in bold are examples of arguments from point of ignorance that are typical of those of religious leanings. undecided

Let me ask you, do you kill animal? Have you ever killed an animal?

We human beings unconsciously equate ourselves to God. Forgetting that God owns us and can do what he desires with us.

Be humble and fear God. Stop questioning your maker.

You're looking at this like everything ends in this world where you spend 70-80 years on the average.
There will be a new eternal world that all these wickedness would cease and all wicked people will be deleted forever.

GOD DOESN'T KILL. WE HUMANS KILL OURSELVES EITHER BY SUICIDE OR HOMICIDE.

DEUTERONOMY 32:39.
GOD HAS SATAN, LUCIFER AND JESUS IN HIS DIRECTORATE TO JUDGE AND PUNISH SINNERS.
JESUS IS THE CEO OF THE DIRECTORATE.
NO SINNER SHALL GO UNPUNISHED. SATAN WORKING FOR GOD, HAS THE ARMORY AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO MAIME AND TO KILL ANY HUMAN ADJUDGED A SINNER.
GOD HIMSELF HAS NO REASON TO STAIN HIS HAND WITH THE BLOOD OF HIS CREATURE.

God Cannot do whatever he likes, God simply does what is right. That often means what he likes because God likes righteousness.

Don't look at it from the human tyrannical eye.
