Omoh, just like how I sold off my Keke even though I was already being fed up with the transportation life angry

What really shocked me was when I logged into Facebook and saw many people selling off their keke and vehicles.....And the one that even shocked me the most was when I came across a former shell worker who sold his vehicle and bought Keke for transport shocked. Na then I realize say na better strong armed robber motor we Nigerians don enter angry
You never saw anything positive. It’s only negative things you are seeing.

There’s no big deal for a former shell worker to be broke. If his financial management was lacking after retirement, he would be broke . Anyone could be broke.

Change your perspective. People are making it. Try to start seeing good things, probably you could be on trajectory to greatness.

The price of cars in Naija still dey shock me. See the dead car I saw last christmas for 4.5 million, I just they shake my head. Sending a car from the US is another problem, when you convert all the cost to naira, added to the cost of clearing in Nigeria...no be small thing.
..then you can buy innoson cars that are affordable

President Tinubu has already advised Nigerians to live within their means. If you can't afford the running of a car, sell it off
Yeah that's what he said. The masses should live within their means while the elites (politicians) come together under one umbrella to feast on our commonwealth

... value Nigeria made goods...must it be foreign goods all the time .
..How will the naira appreciate and have value when we continue buying foreign goods, things all the time ... Depreciation and devaluation of the naira due to buying too much of foreign goods, importation is the one destroying the economy and country

How is that relevant to this discussion?
It's very relevant, because if you do, you wouldn't make such a reckless statement.

If you’ve owned a car at any point in the last 10 years or more, you must have realized that regardless of your income the cost of maintenance, fueling, vehicle parts, and more has increased by over 400 to 500% in just the past two years, largely due to the economic decisions of the current calamitous Tinubu regime

Why should you own a car you won't be able to maintain?
if not that I would be banned if I insult you, I would have cursed your generations. What sort of rubbish utterance is this? People afforded cars they can maintain until this govt took over and everything became difficult. I don't know why people support evil by all means. Are we supposed to be suffering in a country that produces fuel?

Why should you own a car you won't be able to maintain?
Why should Tinubu have 31 SUV sold at $45M the least convoys and uses Government money to maintains all of themhuh

Why not drop the convoys to 5 cars And use Nigerian made cars as wellhuh

Hope you heard what some veterans in Army, police, civil servants etc where saying about the wasted #9.2 billion wasted out of happiness for two cups won which expires in 2 years as another competition comes uphuh

If you can still be able to evaluate and compare , you will see that the Government of TINUBU is really it is my turn government where nothing is considered, just do as they like....

The hardship should be niched into hardwork by the good citizens
But lots will rather sit and watch how bad things are instead of looking for opportunities in the challenges they claimed

Customs now increas import duties on weekly basis. People are selling off their properties to survive. If Tinubu's first term can be this disastrous, I can't imagine how bad 2 term will be No path to 2nd term but OTP. Anyways, it will favour me and my household. grin grin grin grin grin
That is the result of high inflation. As revenue declines due to falling demand for imports these revenue agencies have to increase rates to meet targets. It is a vicious downward spiral. All service agencies and enterprises are affected.

Same disease affecting PHCN. They raise tariffs, good people find alternatives or reduce power consumption. Bad people steal power. Both lead to reduced earnings and ro make up they have to raise tariffs frequently.

That is why we continue to say this. There is no alternative to a well run economy. Government cannot buy its way, sanction its way, manipulate its way out of the hard tasks of reducing inflation and reducing rates (tariffs, bank interest, tax, etc) across board to stimulate growth and productivity, elements that fight inflation.

It is so easy to read the direction of this economy. We are caught up in a vicious debt crises and we better get smart as to how we intend to get out because the clock is ticking.

You really need to have this guy evaluated. nothing meaningful comes out from his discussion.

SLIDEwaxie:

The question is who is buying. Niger republic, Ghanians, and Togolese / Benin people are because they are more wealthier than the middle class we have here now. so here you g,o your answer.
