I am not holy. But we all know the truth from lies. We know what is right and what is wrong. Using these modern and social media ways of using euphemisms to mask deplorable or deceptive behaviours as good, is what you lots have mastered and have decided to keep deceiving yourselves with.

If you don't wear your best to church, where do you wear it to? I was taught growing up that you wear your best clothes to church. Our church clothes used to be different from other clothes, and we wear them only to church and very special occasions. There is nothing wrong in appearing well before God, though it must be decent and devoid of competition.

I no dey follow do all this one. Women are mostly guilty of this. My wife too go follow if I allow her. Men that do this, I have no words for you.

I am a Muslim who is married to a Christian. In the past, I used to drive my wife to Church and also worship with her, but this has changed. This is because she wants me to dress as if we are doing our Traditional Wedding every Sunday. Good shirt and Jeans trousers is not good in her eyes, even a complete suit is not good enough. I worked in different banks over the decade, so dressing is part of my profession, however, simple office clothes are not good enough in the eyes of my wife, I must dress like our Traditional Wedding every Sunday. That is so tiring, so I have left her to be going to Church with the children.

We no dey do like that for Mosque, if you like, wear rags, nobody will stop you from worshiping Allah, but this time it is not the Church that is dictating how people dress, the Church doesn't care as long as you are coming to pay Tithes and Offerings, it is the ladies that have turned the Church into Fashion Centres. The worst ones are the ones that dress almost nakked to the Church and nobody will correct them

Sir, even you as a Muslim know this that modern organized churches are out to make money.

I still wonder why people go and waste their time and resources to build with fake ministers.

I too was in the box till around 2010 - 2014.

God was starting to deal with me on special ground. I was beginning to have some crazy life situations that brought me to my kneels. Out of pain and hopelessness I prayed to Jesus to help me. And that I would live for him if he did.

That's when I began to read the bible and Repent of my pride, selfishness and other vices. In the process of reading the bible God opened my eyes to see the life of the real Jesus and I began to see the lies of modern preachers/pastors leading millions astray.

The issue is if we don't seek the real Jesus and obey his words revealed in the new testament, He won't recognize us when He comes back for judgement. And that won't be very nice if he doesn't allow us in.

This should be commended. People should present themselves to God in their possible best. Nobody goes job searching in rags, worshipping should be no different.

Before now white garment churches were free of this churches becoming runway issue ; but nowadays white garment churches have joined.

Now u have white garment churches having vendors who tag themselves "luxury garment vendors" who sell expensive and shinny white garments.

Now the well-to-do and the wannabes run over themselves to buy expensive materials from them to sew expensive white garments. Some of the garments and loin clothes they adorn every Sunday would rival the cost of native materials worn by big men and women in pentecostal churches.
