He was very specific in what he said. He mentioned the need of the church as asked members to support to solve the need of the church. The church has displayed the account number for the church project. He didn't mention 1B alone.

There was a time the management of RCCG wanted pastors to donate to 'sponsor' the children of elders to Redeemers' university.... so they don't use church funds to subside running the school & scholarships.

Pastors are not well paid; infact, pastors pay for their own life insurance and the mission discourage young pastors from.entering the mission full time; they rather part time pastors who have the resources to run the church.

What exactly is RCCG using the trillions they generate each year in titles and offerings that they have to solicit for funds for EVERY project?

Most of u too quick to criticize but he never forced anyone to give. Most of these donations were asked for when the church or the man of God wants to embark on big projects. For example, there was time he asked for such about 7yrs ago saying he wanted to build a university in his home. I think the uni will not only be good for Nigeria economy but will create tens of thousands employment opportunities.
All these criticism are mainly from those who never added a Kobo to the donations. Most of u can't even control your home let alone outsiders. Anyways it's envy.
