Simple as that. Name your State, Local Government and Street. All this vague 'dem say dem say' is tiring.

What are we all educated for if we wish to sit here for hours indulging in conjectures when citizens of developed nations will simply use precise info others supply to validate the precise situation of things?

Is it just to make nebulous claim of "my area" without precise identification to back a narrative the government is succeeding or failing in the power sector?

Honestly, Nigerian human resources can frustrate immensely because the way they are wired makes them the greatest enemies of one another.
Did you ask the zombies claiming to have power in Gusau to name their LG, street name and house number before you believe them

You are quite right. Most of the policy makers are on this forum and if everyone is honest enough to state the situation in their area then that could be a challenge to the policy makers in that area to act. If lagos and ilorin and Abuja are experiencing better electricity supply then people from other states have the right to find out why they are having different experience rather than calling everyone liars or political supporters. It doesn't even make sense for someone to accuse a resident of one area of lying about something as obvious as electricity supply when real humans are living there and could easily dispute it.

A lot of Nigerians are now experiencing relatively constant power supply. Any one trying to argue against this is just trying to deny what is obvious.
You guys should quit the deceit
It is common knowledge that power supply improves during the rainy season in Nigeria because of our dams none of which was built by this administration or any APC administration for that matter
Besides that, it's obvious this guys on twitter are the newly recruited digital media army of 1000 people being paid 30k to sway public opinion since your president is now clueless and has no idea on what to do anymore
Re: Nigerians Express Happiness Over Improved Power Supply Nationwide by Hardeybohwarley(m): 3:38pm On Aug 10, 2025
It's true. Here in Osun where I stay, our power supply has improved to some extent.

We even have light as I'm typing this.

Kudos to him, I hope this continues.

So, I saw this thread on X formerly Twitter where Nigerians from all over the country are expressing their happiness over the improved power supply in the country. Most people claimed they have abandoned their generators as a result of constant supply of electricity. This indeed is what sharing. We may not be there yet but we must acknowledge the improvement we are witnessing.

Kudos to the Minister of power and everyone involved in the electricity sector from generation to final distribution to our homes and businesses.

..from the news making rounds some couple of wks ago..Tilumbu released billions of Naira for a media parley..where Wale was the Chairman of the occassion..where they invited purveyors of lies, deceit & propaganda & given express orders to push the renewed hope:;"less agenda of Tilumbu..

...what you just did..is exactly the outcome of that Media parley..

Maybe your area is an exception. But for a lot of Nigerians, the reality is that power has improved considerably.

You can see screenshots of people from Lagos, Abuja, Gusau, Jos, Ibadan, Ilorin etc all over the thread and they are all saying the same thing.
Rigged screenshots from APC hired bots who are the only ones in Pẹnkẹlẹmẹs' 150 million Nigerians.

APC and Propaganda are like 5 & 6. Always looking for a cheap point to score for Tinubu. People have forgotten what the Failure Minister of Power said recently that, Nigeria need to invest $20bn dollars in the power sector for the country to have a stable electricity. What has happened not up to 3 months?

Ask me, I don't know
Re: Nigerians Express Happiness Over Improved Power Supply Nationwide by Starboytwo(m): 3:55pm On Aug 10, 2025

I agree the power improved but it also has to do with the constant raining, Nigerians dont know how power stations operate, The more the down pour the more power a dam would produce electricity.
Wrong. Hydroelectricity in Nigeria generates less than 20% of the total electricity we use. Nigeria power generation is predominantly through gas.

You are the one who doesn’t know how the Nigerian power sector operates
Re: Nigerians Express Happiness Over Improved Power Supply Nationwide by oglalasioux(m): 3:59pm On Aug 10, 2025
Let’s wait till the rainy season is over. For now a lot of households are not using their air conditioning and refrigerators due to cold. Grid failures happen mostly during the intense heat months when all air cons and fridges are all in full blast.

Hydroelectricity generates less than 20% of the total amount of power we use in Nigeria. I don’t think you’re well informed to be making comments on this issue.

Pls read up. You guys are relying on 2005 information. Give credit where credit is due.

Bro, you are wrong and will remain in darkness if you think the testimony of many Nigerians can somehow be a conspiracy "to promote tinubu reelection in 2027".

kindly petition your local DISCO office to find out if there may be a generation issue related to infrastructure.

OP is entirely correct because majority can testify to the work of Adelabu, Minister of power, per vastly improved and never before seen (at least in my lifetime) constant power supply mainly aided by much improved efficiency in the distribution end that higher tariffs introduced have more than justified.

I live in Lekki phase 1 and dabble in property development across the Island up to Ajah and Sangotedo which are tending towards Epe.

We have had steady power supply in my residence for like three to four months now with stretches of even four to five days of constant power. Same extends to areas across the Island I have property development interests in.

I don't have to reveal the above but do so to challenge others to fact check and discredit me if I lie and your sort are correct trying to insinuate the situation in your area is general across Nigeria. It is by being real we can change Nigeria for better and not with lies or pursuit of hidden agendas.

Many ordinary Nigerians have no interest interest in fooling anyone because of any 2027 political agenda. Residential and business power users are just happy to confirm they are getting constant power supply that is aiding them to make progress.

Politicians come and go whereas progress is what upright Nigerians should seek always and should be duty-bound to confirm when they experience it.

Again, if you really want steady power others are enjoying, then get in touch with your power DISCO to understand if there is an issue you can lobby your LGA chairman or legislature to look into. That is their job.

Your situation, assuming you are even telling the truth, is abnormal for the much improved current state of affairs many Nigerians are now enjoying.

Begin by doing something about it rather than think all others are in your shoes or working for Tinubu's re-election.
You are a wise man.

Thanks for educating him.

As if Nigeria is all about Lagos and Abuja.

In my area in Warri, the electricity is BAD like Man Utd's PLAYING style. undecided

Light comes in the Midnight. sad
Make una no worry. Na small small, e go reach una.

Just a matter of time since it’s already started. 😊

It was on another thread I was telling folks that Tinubu’s secret joker is Power Supply.

That he would solve the power issue once and for all, and use that to get himself re-elected, and people were abusing me.

Now it’s happening.

What is the percentage of a lot of nigerian enjoying steady power supply is it 10,20,30,50 percent or more than half of population.

No light here at Elega Abeokuta. The road is also terrible. The federal government have also abandoned the Saję/ Lafiaji/ Elega Junction road through Mokola under bridge to rot away. The bridge that has been 90% completed is in a devastating condition.
