One of the biggest fights President Tinubu may face is if GEJ accepts and then runs for Presidency. These are things to note.

(1) GEJ's Capacity to Win: There is still soft spot for GEJ by many Nigerians even the North. GEJ is still liked by many Nigerians and if he comes out for Presidency, He may win.

(2) Appeasement by the North: The North did not treat GEJ properly at a time, not everyone though; and they may have regretted such action. GEJ coming out may be a time for them to "reward" him good for what they did to him.

(3) One Term: GEJ has just one term if he contests and wins Presidency.

(4) Working Economy: During the time of GEJ, the economy was working reasonably, many or most things were far cheaper than now. This past profile might make many Nigerians want him again.

(5) Failure of Party That Took Over PDP: Except APC buckles up on time and start doing some good and great things that citizens can take hold of. If the current trend of inability in APC continues, it may give GEJ big edge if he comes out for Presidency.

Politics does not work that way.
Atiku wants to contest.
Tinubu will contest.
Amaechi wants to contest.
Peter Obi wants to contest.
El Rufai wants to contest.

These figures each has a substantial number of supporters! Hence, the results will be broken and divided among them.

If I'll advise Obi on this, he should accept Atiku's VP slot. That will give him a headstart.

If I'll advise GEJ, he should stay off Nigeria's politics, because he has made a good name for himself already which he should not try to soil with Nigeria's many issues.

why are you igbos just angry since the mentioned of him contesting again. If obi was not contesting, you guys would have carry his matter on the head just like when he lost in 2015 than even his kinsmen the ijaws. I am very happy he is in the picture whether he agree or not and atleast some of our blind south south brothers will now known how you people are truly. they are deeply in pains cos if Jonathan joined the race it will become three horse race between Tinubu, Jonathan and Atiku, that if some of northerners hide their agenda of power returning to back to them in 2027 and what to use Jonathan as a spoiler to Tinubu. If they decide to support Jonathan then it becomes two horse race between Tinubu and Jonathan. Obi is not in any of the equation and that is the pains igbos are nursing now. they have been calling Jonathan all manners of name. Any south south person who still think igbos are one with us, should examine is mental capacity. They fought Akpabio from being Senate president too. They are just afraid of the political rising of south south.

And the south south and south East result were not over inflated, right? If we compare the results of 2015 and 2019 for PDP in the two regions, won’t we see the same fraud that you’re talking about? Let’s even take everything down to the 2023 result that a lot of you have condemned as fraudulent. Let’s see if the fraud won’t even be more obvious.

You people should just keep shut. Jonathan isn’t contesting anymore. Even if he does the case of his eligibility that he won in court in 2023 will be revisited and taken to another court then Supreme Court where he will be struck out.
