Good morning, guys. I am new here. I got admitted to Heinrich Heine University few days ago and I am afraid I won't be able to get a visa this year cos my semester starts in October. I was hoping I could get to apply for some scholarships to help with the appointment wait time but I haven't found any that is available and that I am eligible for, except the Deutschlandstipendium from my school, in which decisions on selections will be made in November. I honestly have no idea what to do right now.

Please what does it mean to certified an affidavit for declaration of age. What type of birth certificate did u submit (NPC or local government birth registration). Also did you leave your deponent ID card containing his signature with them in your courier envelope or you go with it after your interview

from CMS enter Eko hotel or Adeola odeku, get off at checking point and cross to the other side, from there you can find your way with google maps

Thanks for the heads up. I have been able to upload all the documents but it says I am now on the waiting list and estimated waiting time is more than one year. Does this mean that i have to inform the school that i am not able to make it this year, and also with the insurance company.

Everything is listed on the embassy website. Once you have all the necessary documents, you register on the consular services portal.

If you have someone resident in Germany,they are in the right position to help you with Sponsorship letter,but please take note that he or she will be accessed to ascertain that he or she can sort out your living expenses while you are in Germany. If you have someone there,ask the person to walk into the Foreign office over there and ask questions, he or she will be told on what to do.

By you haven't gotten a positive response do you mean that they refused to reschedule or they didn't respond?

So far you sent your rescheduling mail before your interview day don't bother, make sure your date of birth, passport number, full name is attached in the mail, reason for your rescheduling and when you want them to reschedule to. Don't bother going for the interview, you will be rescheduled.
