Zubi! Absolute masterclass in the middle of the park. Closest player i have seen to prime xavi of Barcelona. Already looks to be a crucial player we must keep fit at all costs. As for Victor, he will grow into the team philosophy with time and his introduction will force Kai to step up big time. Interesting times ahead.

Watching Zubimendi and Rice today made me think of what a genius Pep Guardiola is. That interchanging and freedom to dictate the game is something he wanted to try with Rice and Rodri two years ago. Zubi/Rice partnership today made odegaard less under pressure. With Calafiori and Gyokeres, I think Martinelli might click. Can't wait to see how Arteta tweaks this team to bring out the best with different players when opponents seems hard to break. Let's see what the season brings from next week.

True. Not even argue. But it is a fact. I guess his bulking up helped cos if na before he for don fall teytey dey gesture to ref or to the stands. But how he calmly finished that is sweet.

I also noticed the speed at which Odegaard, Zubi and Saka released the ball for the goals. No delay no unnecessary back passes.
we now have a striker that runs behind and on the shoulders of defenders, so yeah, that sense of urgency in attack should be our new model not 90 passes and cross
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Roland17(m):
Both goals showed important adjustments we need to break teams, particularly the 2nd goal. Quick 1-2 touches with movement and being decisive in dangerous areas. There was no need lingering with the ball. Gyokeres will flourish in this style.

His movements in between the defenders to take that header was refreshing. Typical striker instincts.

That's what we need to break low blocks.

It's also good that Havertz scored a good goal to save our timeline from unnecessary bickering

Interesting game.

- Zubimendi impressed me a lot.

- Gyokeres will cook when he finally adapts to the teams rhythm.

- Martinelli showed a glimpse of his former self. I just need him to be more consistent.

-Madueke offers something different to us.

-Hervertz surprised me with his pace today and the finishing was what made it even sweeter.

Overall, it was a beautiful game with some modifications to our game play, I saw rice coming deep on several occasions and spaming long passes which was beautiful to watch.

Now, onto United! Let’s see how it goes.
Harvertz no wan gree hold that bench😂😂

Martinelli and gyokeres also clicked, but he needs odegaard more and I love his hold up play.
Mosquera is showing he will be important in the squad, Arteta still need to talk to MLS to release ball on time

I didn't know they played penalty shoot out
That boy holds ball so they can foul him like five foul is equal one goal😂

Since control is in the DNA, this kind of switch up will make it even harder to pull comebacks vs us going forward.

Honestly, it was refreshing to see that side of Kai.

All we ask is for him to be consistent, he already has the work rate.

The run he made for that third goal and the power he used against the defenders was commendable

I hope this Ebere Eze will be signed up by Arsenal. The guy is definitely better than Odegaard and will surely offer us something different.

At least he should break Tomiyasu record. Lol. Cala to start and MLS to replace will be such a great sub level. And then they can rotate the order and cup games like that.

On the other side, Ben White and Timber.... Timber is the starter. But that chemistry between Saka and White, especially now that Gyokeres will drag away shirts from two of them..... 😎

Me i believe the ongoing case might be the factor. The club has really tried to make sure the case didn't start while he was still with us. But everything still seems sketchy. Bottom line was he needed to leave even if na 600k we offered.
