➜they don't have any business with rivers or lake....they are mostly deep in the ocean,it's so hard to get near them because they control the deep... They definitely have Dominion over the sea n Ocean,not even scientist can dictate them easily

The 4 attached pictures of mermaids looks like ladies wearing mermaid suits however I have met a lady from Ogun state who told me she has seen one in her flooded community she said it was sitting on a submerged fence and later jumped into the water and disappeared when it saw her she said it wasn't beautiful as people were made to believe.

Actually they can be nice especially if they like you. Even if you can't swim you won't drown. They will use their special powers to protect you. But if they fall in love with you they might propose marriage and ask you to come and live with them.

Mermaids do not exist. The stories of mermaids are myths just like tortoise in our folk tales. There's no doubt there are spirits in the waters just the same way you have them in other secluded places like cemeteries, forests, etc. Only those with a third eye (activated their number six sense) can communicate with them.
