Who knows, i have never seen one. But ancient stories tell of human like creatures or chimeras, with human simarities.

For example, lets say gorrilla, it looks human, it behaves humanlike but its not a chimera, it seems they are created naturally that way. There are theories that when the watchers or fallen angels came to the earth they also corrupted animals by mixing animal genes with human to create human like creatures, The same thing that is happening now with advances in Science.

So Mermaid could exist. And other beings with human appearance likely exist. Maybe in another dimension or some concealed areas of the earth.

Growing up, I've heared so many stories about Mami-water(mermaid) and some seem convincing though but I still have my doubts. For those wandering what a Mami-water(mermaid) is, they are sea creatures, with tail instead of legs and a human body. Some believe these creatures possess some supernatural power to make someone rich, some believe they could give someone fame, some believe they are spirits that only come out at night time while some believe they are peaceful and the most beautiful sea creatures(the list is endless).. Infact some persons actually call beautiful girls Mami-water(mermaid) some even admire beautiful girls saying, you're more beautiful than a mami-water(mermaid).. My question now is, do this creature's actually exist? Or is it just another myth? What story have you heared about them?

Thanks for your contribution man! I've actually watched a YouTube video where some white guys were trying to help a mermaid they saw on shore, get back into the water so it doesn't die and believe me, the video looked so real....

That Youtube video is as fake as hell. Just like an action movie of superman you use to watch.

If you don't believe I would advice you go to any crowded/busy market with mirror and try to look through the mirror then come back and tell us the result.
I use to doubt all this things not until earlier March this year I went to the market to buy things , saw where they were performing magic so I decided to take a look , like seriously I didn't watch for up to 10 minutes before I left .
As I went home I started feeling dizzy so i went and took my bath and laid down as I was lying down I started seeing double , when I mean double I mean everything in that room was moving including the bed I was lying on . Luckily for me my mum and dad were around so I just shouted and then they came asking what the matter was by then I could not even stand or even open my eyes I was sweating like a goat , my mum had to pour water on me and other things , it too me like two days to regain myself. I dey mad to go watch another magic abi doubting them again ni.

I actually dont believe but i have elders and friends who claim they have seen life Mermaids. They said to confirm OP you can go to the river at noon or mid night make sure its very silent and your alone.

Those elders have lied to you badly. and no wonder we are where we are in this country like this, if elders can tell this kind of lie without remorse. Is just like the kind of lie I tell my kinds when their teeth falls off and I tell them that the tooth fairy is coming to carry it away and give them money in return. llies and all lies.

Not every thing is an invented story. Many of them exist, we do not see them or perceive them, because they are not allowed to show themselves yet.

I have seen a two beings that look like aliens those things with big eyes, and human appearance, but it was like a dream, I stood up from my bed, and i woke up standing up. They were observing, those beings are like the demonics or wicked spirits observing and trying to cause problems. I don't think they were angels.

I think mermaids are real and actually existed and where aliens that existed in the past that visited many cultures around the world, for example Dogon tribe from Mali,described the nommo aliens that taught them about Sirius constellations, as beings that were half human and half fish which is similar to what we now know today as Mermaids..It could be they still exist till day but they might be residing in the deepest parts of the ocean where no humans can survive the pressure of the ocean

I have seen a lady possessed by a water spirit. She manifested severally that I see.

She always wants to jump into water when she is close to any water body. She eventually died after some years. Though was was able to get married and had a child.

She told us stories about mammy water. I was young then though. Nice aunty when she is normal but she becomes something else when that water stuff enter her spirit.

So yes, I believe they exist but I think the are going into extinction. They are no more as popular as they were when I was younger .

Apart from mammy water, it's absurd for someone to think it's only us that stay in this our universe. There are other several beings also existing.

Do you believe there are certain frequency of light that the human eye can't see. Most of these creatures live in the frequency that is not visible to human eyes.

Mermaids have been seen. They could also physically appear just like demon spirits/fallen angels.. Pictures posted by op are not real mermaids though. Read the story of late Sir Victor Uwaifo about what made him write the song "if you see mammy water x 2ce, never never you run away". Actually you shouldn't have anything to do with them. They'll mess up a person's life. You'll be a prey.

You’re right. There are spirits that rule over the waters but they don’t have fish tails like what is being portrayed. They are unseen spiritual entities.

They are not myths, they are very brutal. Dinosaur and dragon maybe myth but demons and mermaid are no myths

A mermaid once dragged a close friend of mine at the bottom of ibagwa river in abak,akwa ibom state not until she saw divers approaching before she left him. My brother mermaid is real.

I have seen it before back then in a river at ikoyi, Lagos, where l go to fishing.

She actually brought out only her face and stayed for a while and then took her face down immediately they called DBN to come and video her.

Infact many people were ontop of the bridge then trying to catch a grip of the scene

And some of the people here saying mummy water don't exist, that anything that can not be evidently seen and scientifically proven doesn't exist, are either mummy water or agents of mummy water.

my grandmother from my maternal side told of one night when they lacked water in the house.
So she set out to fetch water from the stream.
The full moon made her think it was day.
She got to the stream and saw a big dark complexion beautiful woman bathing but was backing her,she couldn't see her face and her lower body is submerged in the water.
My grandma just fetched water and left.
On her way going and coming,she didn't see anybody.
I believe the mermaids and mermans evolved at a time there was water over the entire earth.
Life has always been on this Earth,the question is form.
