Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has dropped some commisioners and special advisers from the State Executive Council.

The Secretary to the Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, said the sack was with immediate effect.

The affected commissioners and special advisers are to hand over to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior civil servant in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

However, the ‘dissolution’ does not affect the State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice. Also not affected by the dissolution are the Commissioner for Health and Human Services; Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security; Commissioner for Education; Commissioner for Works; Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives; Special Adviser, Special Education and Social Inclusion; and Special Adviser Lands, Survey and e-GIS.

Also, all Directors General who are members of the State Executive Council are to retain their positions. These are the Director General Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD); Director General SDGs and Project Monitoring; and Director General Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

And you think any governor will embark on renovating the federal road....see, na pilitics be everything for this our con3...the only thing that is working against oyebanji na non challant attitude towards party members...as for the road rehabilitation, the guy try...

Ekiti Agric commissioner is the best. BAO reelection is sure as all the former Govs are united behind him. I believe he can do better in road infrastructure, though.

I visited Ekiti twice last year and once this year. I was and I’m still disappointed with this current governor cus there’s no sign of governance there. They have the worst roads in south west yet the current governor is always on the news. He’s the worst governor in Yoruba land atm after him is Ondo and Osun. Lagos,Oyo enjoys good governance

Can we say Mathew Street from Ijigbo Roundabout to Odo Ado is also a Feredal road ? Can you confidently drive your car on this road ? Is Ugbagba Road belongs to the federal goverment too ? Are you saying Ado-ekiti township road now belongs to the federal goverment ? Even during Fayemi and Fayose time, they repaired some of these federal roads like Ado-ifaki road, Ado-Ikare road, Ado-ilawe road. What has changed ?

Let us call a spade a spade and stop promoting mediocre.

The same Fayemi complained that most of the federal road he did then was not paid for...that the federal government would say he did not send them to do it...

As for the aforementioned roads, i beleive he's gonna get there....he has fixed so many township roads in ado and some are still under construction.. we all know they play politics with everything in this country....

But to be frank constructive criticism is good. It always awaken the governmentto their responsibility...
