I once had a tenant like this in my dad's compound. I slashed his rent and made him pay half of what others are paying, due to the fact that he was physically challenged. This man and his family messed up the compound. He was cooking with firewood out side even while living on a 1 bed room apartment. He was even threatening other tenants when they complained, because my dad made him a caretaker. The wall painting was stained with smoke. Even with all these he still owed over 8 months rent. I sent him packing in Feb, you need to see how this man and his family messed up the kitchen and bathroom. Rat holes everywhere in the sitting room. The estimated cost of putting that room in order is more than 2 years rent. I was told recently that he moved into his own house. Me I will never pity any tenant again. 3 Likes |
