You think this is any different from anywhere else in the entire world even in the so called saner climes

A boy from a rich family got drunk and killed people in Texas and he was released because he lawyer argued he was suffering from Affluenza - A state where you are raised too rich to know any difference from right and wrong

When you are middle class to poor kid and your parents keep hammering you to know the son of whom you are, what they are telling you is that equal sin does not carry equal consequence

Davido, Burna dey smoke igbo on live TV even dem papa mates dey hail them, Let anyone else try am if you no go sleep for NDLEA cell
Hunter Biden walked despite doing (and technically peddling cóke), perjury and other such a crimes.

Prince Harry lied about drûg use to US immigration.

Prince Andrew has long been exposed for involvement in séx traffickîng, pãedophilia...

Nancy Pelosi flouted Covid rules which others got jailed for. A serving Governor did too to make her hair.

Nancy Pelosi has been fingered for insider trading.

Nobody has been jailed for the USAID fraud which went to personal accounts uncovered by Elon Musk's DOGE.

None of the aforementioned people saw jail time or even a slap on the wrist.

The elite world over have always gotten away witn many crimes as long as they don't step on too many toes and it's not expedient for optics.

That hostess is the demon,at a point the lass dropped her phone whilst recording and wanted out, but the winchy blocked her way.😂

so, it's not just in Nigeria, the elite misbehave and get away with many things, if it was any member of the masses who committed such, would be doing time in jail. Yet, they make us believe the law work perfectly over there, while it's shitty over here.

During the covid pandemic when the govt were telling everyone to social distance Obama was sighted at a party same with the governor of California Gavin Newsom who hosted a party

Their money and connections makes them immune to laws, they are sworn to observe and protect.

Back in my undergrad days, one of our lecturers bluntly told us, the law is meant for the weak and poor, period. Dude really knew what he was talking about. Lol

https://medium.com/@FromLagosto/metas-great-book-heist-when-tech-giants-steal-who-pays-the-price-9387383b4f64

The Double Standard of Digital Piracy

In the age of artificial intelligence, data is king — and Meta has just been caught plundering the kingdom. Reports reveal that the tech giant illegally downloaded over 80 terabytes of books from LibGen, Anna’s Archive, and Z-Library to train its AI models. That’s millions of copyrighted books, sucked into Meta’s AI machine without permission, credit, or compensation.

Yet, this blatant intellectual property theft is being met with silence. No lawsuits, no FBI raids, no billion-dollar fines. Instead, Meta continues building its AI empire, profiting off the stolen work of authors, researchers, and publishers.

Now, let’s compare this to another case.
Aaron Swartz: A Martyr for Open Knowledge

In 2010, Aaron Swartz, a brilliant programmer and activist, downloaded 70GB of academic articles from JSTOR — not for profit, but for public access.

For his actions, Swartz faced:

35 years in prison

$1 million in fines

Relentless prosecution by the US government

Under this crushing legal pressure, he took his own life in 2013 at the age of 26. His crime? Believing knowledge should be free.

Now, Meta has stolen 1,000 times more data — not to make knowledge free, but to train its AI for profit. Yet, no one is knocking on Mark Zuckerberg’s door with an arrest warrant.

Corporate Theft vs. Individual Activism

The hypocrisy here is staggering:

When a lone activist downloads academic papers for public access, he’s labeled a criminal.

When a trillion-dollar corporation steals entire digital libraries, it’s called innovation.

This isn’t just about AI — it’s about who gets to break the rules and who gets punished for it.
Big tech is literally stealing IP to train their AIs . but if individuals do they same thing - FBI open up!

Izzou see what I was saying about airlines being diplomatic to a fault with their customers because of the blowback from altercations between their staff and passengers which may lead to potential lawsuit?

Now the dynamics of the whole matter is changing. There's a section of the public that is now sympathetic with the lady urging her to sue the airline company.

The video of the lady wanting off the plane with the air hostess blocking her way and the testimony of other passengers aboard same aircraft is beginning to sway public opinion away from Ibom Air's side.

Suddenly, even Keyamo the minister of aviation is displeased with Ibom Air over the indocent video of th lady that made it to the internet.

The lady will definitely get what's coming to her, but this is also a PR mess for Ibom Air Sha.

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:22am On Aug 12, 2025
If there's any element of truth to the other passengers' account of the events on the Ibom Air flight I have been reading online ; the matter looks like a case that started off as that of " stubborn woman Jam stubborn woman"

The comfort lady was asked to switch off her phone but she refused and insisted it was already on airplane mode. The air hostess insisted on having her switch if off rather than have it on airplane mode.

The air hostess wanted to impose her authority and wanted 100% compliance while the comfort lady seem like one who would not give in,having convinced herself that her phone being on airplane mode means all safety protocol has been observed. (most airlines would want u to either out the phone off or on airplane mode)

Most likely there was an exchange of words and ego battle between the two ladies until another passenger took the phone off the lady and switched it off to save everybody's time since the air hostess would not allow the pilot take off except the comfort lady complies. That definitely infuriated the comfort lady and must have turned a chatterbox from takeoff to landing.

The air hostess wanting to deal with comfort already had the pilot call security immediately the plane landed. She blocked comfort from disembarking and comfort fought back by trying to force her way out which unfortunately for her was caught on camera.

The video made the internet and she is now in serious trouble......

The name makes it unclear

Ethnic lens of stubborn woman, great bosoms, confam fair skin ( bleaching unlikely based on visual observation) is not clearing this matter.

Asking the real questions here.

the professional thing for the staff to do was to stand aside and let airport security handle the matter
then it is not an ibom air issue but an actual security issue

a good lawyer can slap civil liability on ibom air for manhandling violence and public humiliation. comfort will just appear crying on tv saying she had a mental breakdown and the unfeeling and wicked ibom air staff decided to beat her up

from the pilot vs kwam1 to this incident - it is actually frightening - the entire cabin crew is supposed to be intensively trained for scenarios like this. instead you have them matching aggressive passengers aura for aura and ESCALATING situations because they are in the right .

Brotherrrlllllllyyyyyy, you are mixing this thing up.

I did not support Ibom Air for dragging her and exposing those precious stones. I am not supporting violence in any way.

I am simply saying that the moment you experience the slightest act that a passenger will be a problem, kindly tell them to behave, or deboard them and refund immediately

Instead of pampering K1 to the plane, they could have told him he wouldn't be able to get through and he would be refunded, unless he ditches his alcohol. Now, a pilot is suspended

They had already boarded, but the plane had not taxied yet. They could have spent few minutes to tell her to either switch her phone off, or they will deboard her and refund her immediately. I am absolutely sure she would have behaved then.

The Embassy has a strict No phone policy. This same person will switch it off there, without much grammar. Why? Because you cannot enter.

Companies should learn to protect their staff too. And people should learn to keep sensitive videos from the public. I'm happy someone will pay for exposing her.

She is most likely from AKS. I doubt her act has anything to do with her state of origin. She acted more like someone shaped from events of life where she had (has?) to constantly defend herself with violence.

30 seconds ke? the plane has already taxied onto the runway. they will have to go back to the hangar.

they will wait for security
they will have to de-board the passenger.

this will add at least 30 minutes if not more, and it will scatter every other planes schedule

and these airlines are obviously not run by actual airline professionals who would train people on what to do - so if there is a fk up the management will simply punish the captain
