Typical Nairaland man. I laugh at you if you feel am pained.

I was looking forward to knowing you or meeting you but I see now that will be a futile and wasted effort because of the level of negativity coming from you.

I would suggest you try and love God.
Looking forward to knowing or meeting me ? You must think too highly of yourself to think I would want to meet you. I don’t roll with Nigerians here. You lots can’t be trusted, before you rope me into what I don’t know.

Hiw about Kenya and Rwanda? Even Cotedevoir
Problem is, those places are far. Ghana, you can travel by road
If you want to leave Nigeria try save enough money and move to Europe. Nigeria is better than most of this countries you mentioned. Just that we Nigerians are loud. We make it seem like Nigeria is hell . They are only better in terms of security. Thank you for you attention

So what part(s) of Tech are you in?
And thank you for a beautiful thread. Your storytelling skills are top-notch.

What also shine through are your absolute faith in God, your gentlemanliness & your wonderful home background/upbringing. Your gentlemanliness & your wonderful home training glow especially in your handling comments & criticisms of those couple of obviously bitter frustrated souls. Ya mama trained you well.

#Anywhere I lay my head in peace, Is my home.
#Peace (of mind) & a structured society over grandiose opulent heartless buildings, hands down - time after time.

Now, you are just cancelling yourself out. Weren't you the same person who said everyone, who wanted to leave the country, should head for the UK, Canada, US, Australia and maybe Germany?
You're free to do as you please. Cheers

Leave them, they will never know until reality hits them in the face. Some African countries look like 80s and 90s Nigeria, with respect to development.

There's a saying in my port Harcourt, that the way a man talks, you will know his upbringing and mindset.

Best to flee from the Uncouth before they stain your image.

I still forgive you and love you regardless, I hope you become a better person for others to emulate

It's an online marketplace for people to buy and sell for free. It's our own contribution to facilitating ease of trade amongst Nigerians. So far so good, we are getting good traction.

Plus I also grew up in PH, so your thread was interesting too for me. Cheers.

You said Chisco motors to Accra is cheaper, than you using YSG to same Accra, pls specify their various fares. Thank you. I'm really enjoying this story now, covered under the duvet cos of this Abuja rain today. 😅😅
Thanks and God's blessings.

I cannot say currently but the time I travelled, Chisco was 90k for new takers who haven't disciplined their passport you will pay 95k.

While Ysg was about 108k.

Hope this helps, but like I said earlier do your preparations.

Peace profound

How about farming in Ghana? Fulani herdsmen dey use people eyes see shege for Nigeria. Are there possibilities of getting good farm land in rural areas in Ghana to farm?
Yes, so much. Preferably around the Ada and Eastern Region and say Bono

Can someone tell me where this "journey mercy" saying came from and how it makes sense. It's an annoying term to me
It's an old English used by pirates.
They believe the marine entities had mercy on them for allowing a safe passage.

You can look it up

You don't have to be tribalistic with your comments.
I've noticed that with most of your comments on here.
So off putting.
You must be new to him. Part of the Nigerians who describe themselves as intelligent, but are diabolically tribalistic. Half of what he narrates are lies.

Interesting thread. From Tensazangetsu20 who studied and lived there, Ghana is "just there", but a safer version than Nigeria.

Ghana is peaceful and all but Nigeria is way better. I have great friends from my short vacations in Labone and Osu, however our high brow areas will easily dust theirs.

I'm not saying this as a competition thing, but seeing that people read posts like these and fantasize about a land flowing with milk and honey, it's necessary to enlighten the thread readers.

The port Harcourt OP is even coming from is way better than a lot of places in Accra, not to talk of Lagos and Abuja. We have better infrastructure too.

As per the light, our light in Nigeria (most parts) has greatly improved and is similar now to what you will obtain in Accra (if you factor in "Dumsor" or load shedding).

If you leave Accra and head to places like Kumasi and other sub regions, then you will understand that Nigeria is light years ahead of a lot of these African countries.

In summary, Ghana is a lovely country. Only go there if you have legitimate business being there. A lot of people go to foreign countries and end up in crime due to frustrations of not being able to secure a job or find something doing. Plan well before making life changing decisions you might end up regretting.

What Nigeria need is a bit of leadership and you will see that we can only be compared to just one or two countries in Africa. If you must leave Nigeria, head only to the UK, Canada, US, Australia and maybe Germany.
This is a well crafted and balanced comment. More of such please.

From my little experience and readings, only South Africa is better than Nigeria in Africa. However, we fail in safety metrics due to the ethnic structure of our polity.

The strength of Cedis must have deceived them. Many Nigerians should know the essence of Purchasing Power Parity before comparing currencies.
