[b] Super Eagles team B lost 4-0 to Sudan in their second match of the 2024 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) on Tuesday night, August 12 .

The Falcons scored three goals in the first half, including an own goal from Remo Stars defender Leonard Ngenge.

Football fans have called for the sack of coach Eric Chelle for his inability to manage the home-based players.

Sudan beat Nigeria 4-0 in their second match at the ongoing 2024 Africa Nations Championship played at Zanzibar’s Amaan Stadium on Tuesday night, August 12.

Al-Hilal SC midfielder Abdel Raouf scored a brace to send Nigeria to the bottom of Group D. Nigeria conceded an own goal in the 25th minute through Leonard Ngenge who made a blunder in the Super Eagles B first match against Senegal.

I watched the match live on Super Sport and they were lucky it ended only 4-0. It should have been 8 or 9.

Nigeria only does well in international football because other leagues in Europe have given our foreign based players exposure. They no longer have an inferiority complex like they used to have in the old days.

The home based Eagles are products of the Nigerian environment so it shouldn't come as a surprise that all the incompetence and lack of intelligence which is deeply embedded in the Nigerian system has rubbed off on them

Our local football league is in a mess.
All our good players don japa to foreign leagues. Na crumbs remain for the league.

Any player that shows small signs of being good, next thing is to start hunting for foreign club to japa.

Reason why no Nigerian clubside has won any African competition in recent years.

Let me not hear anybody advocating for home based players next time Super Eagles are playing.

Our local league is ZERO. The coach lumped Remo Star players for the tournament in the name of being the current local champions. When asked the reason, he pointed to how South Africa does so with their best club to represent their country.
OUR HOME BASED PLAYERS ARE A WRITE OFF. They can't even seize the opportunity when it matters.

Lazy coach. Couldn't scout for players nationwide hence went for the easier route by using mainly players from one team in the local league. This is disgraceful . What has he been doing since he was employed that he couldn't get a solid team from our local league that he had to rely on using mainly players from just one club
