Thundafireseun:It's the plain truth....just same way you can't distance entertainment industry with dirty money....record labels, clubs, hotels, casinos, promotion companies etc.....ask yourself which bank would loan you money to invest in an upcoming artist nobody knows? Entertainment industry is a very viable ground to wash dirty money and slush funds just like real estate......why do you think many of these artist vilify internet scams and eulogise known and perceived game boys. |

fnep2smooth:Definitely. If not for fraudsters, the rate of armed robbery in this country would have been off the roof. EFCC should target politicians and leave them alone. The real estate industry and hospitality industry are also been funded by such crimes funds. The politicians are only concerned about promoting insecurity, thuggery and banditry. Devious humans. |

We all know this, and it's this sho sho sho talk that killed chocolate city boys, I was at ice prince Etisalat show some times back in 2013, instead of the dude to entertain the crowd, he busy insulting yahoo boys like he was intimidated, his stage director was a cool guy on dred wearing glasses, may be he was not well advised and the boys started leaving with their guys, same thing he was doing in Lagos, you can't be insulting your highest customer, who buy most tickets and tables at your shows, organizers will dump you when they don't sell, it's not about you, it's about the show biz and organizers getting their money back and making profit, if you want to be holy, dump worldly music and switch to gospel songs |

because the country lacks proper investment in the creative industry. He calls this a national embarrassment, pointing out that most financial support comes from either foreign sources or illegal means. His message is clear: Nigeria’s wealthy elite and government need to step up and fund talent legally, or the industry will keep depending on crime.
