Ahhhh, my compatriots in the amphitheatre of melophonic gyrations, permit me to ventilate my cranial cogitations on this matter that His Lyrical Eminence, Jude M.I Abaga, has unfurled before our optic faculties.

If indeed our sonorous savants are being fiscally lubricated by the nefarious lubricant of Yahoo-Yahoo pecuniary percolations, then verily, we are dancing Shaku-Shaku on the precipice of an ethical abyss! This is not merely a jejune peccadillo; it is a mammothian indictment on our socio-economic superstructure.

Instead of an autochthonous aristocracy of affluence galvanizing our creative gladiators with legitimate naira nectar, we have the aberrant anointing of artistes by algorithmic brigands of cyberspatial kleptomania. This, my compatriots, is a symphony in the key of national embarrassment.

May our plutocratic patricians awaken from their philanthropic siesta, lest the cantata of our cultural industry be eternally orchestrated by the bass drums of fraudulence and the saxophone of subterfuge.

Are you sure you is quality you want to spell or you never had a dictionary

How can you posit naija music lost it quality at a time our music and artist are globally accepted, collaborations with int'l superstar and recognition into grammy awards resonate we are advancing

Was upon a time you will check an Wassup dude phone ,... foreign music makes up 80% of our music library but today it the other way naija songs dominates everybody's library ... Maybe quality is relative.

Where the govt failed, Fraud boiz are main blessing not just to music but so many westernize businesses/smes today, the mall, spa, lounge, boutiques, strip club , car sellers ...

how many legit working class can afford iphone 16 in naija of today but Sales is popping .... miracle no dey taya jesus dey run am

It's the plain truth....just same way you can't distance entertainment industry with dirty money....record labels, clubs, hotels, casinos, promotion companies etc.....ask yourself which bank would loan you money to invest in an upcoming artist nobody knows? Entertainment industry is a very viable ground to wash dirty money and slush funds just like real estate......why do you think many of these artist vilify internet scams and eulogise known and perceived game boys.

M.I is right—many Nigerian artists rely on funding from internet fraudsters ("Yahoo Boys"wink because the country lacks proper investment in the creative industry. He calls this a national embarrassment, pointing out that most financial support comes from either foreign sources or illegal means. His message is clear: Nigeria’s wealthy elite and government need to step up and fund talent legally, or the industry will keep depending on crime.
Definitely. If not for fraudsters, the rate of armed robbery in this country would have been off the roof. EFCC should target politicians and leave them alone. The real estate industry and hospitality industry are also been funded by such crimes funds. The politicians are only concerned about promoting insecurity, thuggery and banditry. Devious humans.

You're talking to a record label owner and a music artist if he can prove it in court?

He is not accusing another artist,he is telling you what is going on in the country.

Even when the truth is right in your face you still argue. What do you think Olamide's YBNL stands for? Yahoo Boy No Laptop...he mentioned this countless times in his songs...it is only the ignorant that doesn't know Yahoo boys fund majority of Nigerian artists.

It's common knowledge now most Nigerian musicians are into fraud. Olamide YBNL is an example.
I'm waiting for who will come and counter this your claim let me give him wotowoto with first hand knowledge of Olamide and co. Though I still love Olamide's humility
