First off, Tinubu is the President of Nigeria. His policies, actions, and inactions affect every single Nigerian every day. So yes, mentioning him when discussing national issues is not just relevant; it’s necessary. You can’t talk about Nigeria’s problems and pretend the man at the helm isn’t part of the conversation.

Second, your quickness to deflect by blaming others for “dragging Peter Obi” only shows how obsessed you both actually are. If Obi is irrelevant to you, why lose sleep over him? Nigerians see through that clearly.

Also, Abike Dabiri’s criticism of Obi or the crimes committed by people from Anambra is no free pass for Tinubu’s international scandals or his failure to tackle crime and drug trafficking effectively. Both deserve scrutiny. Hypocrisy is pointing fingers at one while ignoring the other. Nigerians are wide awake to that.

And seriously, are criminals only in Anambra State? We have criminals everywhere. So why single out Anambra just because Peter Obi is from there? Especially when the current governor, Soludo, is reportedly Tinubu’s friend for over two decades and recently endorsed Tinubu for a second term, why isn’t he being mentioned? Why focus on Obi, who currently holds no political office and is just a private citizen?

Finally, if we’re talking principles, maybe Tinubu should explain why serious allegations and scandals keep following his personal life and administration without proper accountability. Leadership means owning up, not shifting blame or denying obvious facts.
