Their region has the richest billionaires in Nigeria and Africa, Dangote,BUA, Indomie, Dantata etc yet they are keeping exporting poverty and beggars to other parts of the country...
That region has the deepest racism in the world. If the Fulanis were white, you would call it apartheid. The Huasa are an underclass; they make up the majority of the beggars in Nigeria and have been denied education, health care and social welfare

They said they sell the money you give them to ritualist, but I still give them especially the kids cos I’d rather give than to start wrestling with my conscience all day after that for looking away from hungry people. I made it a duty to give daily cos I believe it brings back divine favors. Though things became a little tight for my family when I returned to my base, but I never for once think it has anything to do with giving them, things are hard everywhere now.

I saw one cripple who keeps crawling on the ground from place to place.

I saw him and was wishing how it would have been if that was me....

I started saving money to give him one evening to buy a wheelchair or that bicycle they paddle with hand.

I saved up to 60k and went to where he stays one evening and transferred the money to one mallam POS there to give to him

The cripple was aware and knows me because I give him money from time to time

To this day that cripple haven't gotten even second hand wheelchair or bicycle.

Hello keeps giving me excuses and asking me more money to open business

He was the one who told me second hand wheelchair or bicycle with hand paddle cost below 60k

2 good months and it seems I've been deceived by a cripple
Awww. Never mind about him. You've sown a wonderful seed. God sees and will certainly bless your good heart.

I have nothing to say to you bro. Whatever I have was not because I went about begging people for it. I was not brought up to seek free meals, you earn your keep. I gave value and got payment as a reward.

I'm all for people trying their best and seeking assistance every once in a while to meet up with some responsibilities. But when begging has been turned to a business, then that's an absolute no. Fully able men and women choosing to beg when people with disabilities are even trying to earn a decent wage.

And you're here telling me rubbish.
You were sounding reasonable until your last sentence. Anyway suit yourself. No one forces you to give to anyone. Do whatever you like with what you have.

What do you have that was not given to you? If you talk about entitlement, then you will be in a sorry state as we speak. Give freely as you have received freely. You should be happy you are not in the position of the beggers. If they had any choice, they would not be there
Are you okay sir?

No try use this kind brain cross road

Are you trying to approve begging as an occupation?

Are you trying to approve begging as an occupation?
No. It is what it is. The bible says " "the poor will not cease from the land" Deuteronomy 15:11,
They maybe beggers as a result of many things, but

Matthew 5:42
Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

You don't know why they are begging.
The funny thing is that people don't usually give much to them. They give them peanut. Some are just satisfied with eating for the day.
The truth is that you don't know why people beg. Some are dubious while some are truly in need. Help anyone if you have the power.

No you weren’t deceived, your kind heart moved you to help and your conscience led you. The beggar deceived himself and he missed out.

Ah, those people are earning more than some 9-5ers. Begging is their occupation and they're quite good at that.

I rember giving a woman #200 back then in 2016, the next thing she said was that the money was too small. The girl beside me got so angry to point of holding her shirt trying to collect the money back, me and some other people had to beg her to just let the woman go.
My experience. She held my clothes until a tout chased her away

One did it for me but it was on a plane....

We were going to Canada and I jsut saw this aboki girl begging and I ignored her....

So I wanted to go use the plane toilet 🚽 but it was occupied, so I open the plane exit door to pee only for this girl to push me from the back....

I thank God for the sneaker 👟 I was putting on, it was an original one and the moment she pushed me, my sneaker held the plane ground dt I didn't fall.......... The whole passenger on the plane had to collect my number to supply them my 👟 and 👞 because of it quality.

Since that day, I started selling that 👟 and 👞 to people...... Infact many nairalanders have done business with me on this and all went well....

I don't give shishi, i only give people who put efforts. most times when we give. we feel relived and think you have done good.....not knowing you have wasted your effort.
People who need help and want to survive are found in hospitals, prisons and elderly ones we see in the market that doesn't sell items worth up to 5k not street beggars, you cant change their lives.

Good day everyone, the best form of charity is the one we do to our immediate family. It's hypocritical helping outside when those within need same help.

All the governors of the 10 Hausa states are Fulani, all the Emirs are Fulani, the Sultan is Fulani, and the majority of the Imams are Fulani.

In the 1950s, Awolowo introduced Universal Education and Healthcare in the SW. He reduced the power of the Paramount Chiefs and traditional kings to ensure that the SW now has a literacy rate of over 80% for both men and women.

What were the Sardauna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello's, education programs in the North that have led the North to have a literacy rate of under 35%? The Fulani are the ruling class in the North and should be held accountable for the poverty, illiteracy and insecurity in Northern Nigeria.

All this were past did hausas reach the schools gate and has to turn back home,is there no schools, teachers? No.It has to do with the parents to make their kids available, in some Northern states there are afternoon schools for kids who are busy or couldn't attend morning school. What else do you want from the governors if teachers salary were paid regular

The Yoruba people didn't reach the school's gates until Awolowo opened the gate via the universal education and health care scheme based on free education and primary health care, which is the remit of states and local government.

Who is opening the gates to young Hausa kids? The Fulani hierarchy class has culturally directed the gate toward Koranic education, as opposed to secular education. If the ruling class are majority Fulani, then they must be held accountable for the low academic and social achievement of the majority Hausa underclass.

If Fulanis were the White race, the dynamic of Northern Nigeria would be seen through the lens of apartheid or racial segregation.

Once you waka streets in lagos you will lose all sympathy for beggars because you will see them finish and you will know even people with disabilities are still capable

years ago i saw a kai harassing a cripple on a skateboard kid of thing. the kai had a baton. out of nowhere the beggar brought out what looked like an ice pick and swiftly and expertly pieces the kais baton

i was in a bus and a guy with one arm came and was begging for money. he was smiling the conductor was on to his game and said something snide. the beggar immediately switched up and went full area boy

try it some time - insult some of these beggars. they will flip on you so fast from sir help me i am hungry to insulting you

its all an act to extract money
