Ahhhh, my compatriots in the amphitheatre of melophonic gyrations, permit me to ventilate my cranial cogitations on this matter that His Lyrical Eminence, Jude M.I Abaga, has unfurled before our optic faculties.

If indeed our sonorous savants are being fiscally lubricated by the nefarious lubricant of Yahoo-Yahoo pecuniary percolations, then verily, we are dancing Shaku-Shaku on the precipice of an ethical abyss! This is not merely a jejune peccadillo; it is a mammothian indictment on our socio-economic superstructure.

Instead of an autochthonous aristocracy of affluence galvanizing our creative gladiators with legitimate naira nectar, we have the aberrant anointing of artistes by algorithmic brigands of cyberspatial kleptomania. This, my compatriots, is a symphony in the key of national embarrassment.

May our plutocratic patricians awaken from their philanthropic siesta, lest the cantata of our cultural industry be eternally orchestrated by the bass drums of fraudulence and the saxophone of subterfuge.
Yes, it is true my brother, it is true. You no lie at all. Everything you talk, na so e happen.

I'm sure he wouldn't have said so if he had benefitted from generosity of the so called fraud boys
Yes! he would not, and that's because he did not accept to be funded by them by choice.

So other artist should realise thats it's a choice, none of them should come saying they had no choice. It's difficult but its the right thing to do.
All money ain't good money.

Who doesn't know this? It's a well known fact. Nigeria music industry is mostly fund by fraud money. Some of them are fraudsters underground...... Same way west music industry is fund by drug dealers.

West = Drug dealers
Nigeria = Fraudsters

Every reasonable person know this
I'm surprised some are surprised

Been respected or respectable, does not pay no bills....... 😂
Stay on topic. Paying bills and being a respected A-List artiste are two different things.

Go look up the word 'projecting' if you don't know. Mostly people who have normalized fraud and have dishonest livelihoods are triggered by his opinion, which actually is a fact.

and hows that funny

That's why the godfather thing in the industry is no longer strong.

Small boys giving record labels a run for their money with just a single track 😂😂😂😂

The thing is really painful to ace/veteran artist like MI to see their hard work and talent been outperformed by poor music and made by talentless kids.

Also raking in the money and topping all charts

Are you sure you is quality you want to spell or you never had a dictionary

How can you posit naija music lost it quality at a time our music and artist are globally accepted, collaborations with int'l superstar and recognition into grammy awards resonate we are advancing

Was upon a time you will check an Wassup dude phone ,... foreign music makes up 80% of our music library but today it the other way naija songs dominates everybody's library ... Maybe quality is relative.

Where the govt failed, Fraud boiz are main blessing not just to music but so many westernize businesses/smes today, the mall, spa, lounge, boutiques, strip club , car sellers ...

how many legit working class can afford iphone 16 in naija of today but Sales is popping .... miracle no dey taya jesus dey run am

Re: Internet Fraudsters Fund Many Nigerian Artists – M.I by Nobody: 12:31pm On Aug 13, 2025
People who are against what MI is positing here are clearly fraudsters or beneficiaries of fraudulent deals.

Most 9ja youths now are either practicing fraudsters or apprentice fraudsters. Things have gone so awry.

Only a negligible few are ethical and honest.

You should understand the wider reasons, why fraudsters are pumping money in.....

Artistes got bills to pay and fraudsters need to wash their money.......

Nigeria is a financial crime scene, perpetrated by all..... Nothing new...... 😁😂

Who is the respected A list artiste...... 😁🤣😂

You're not in that industry. M.I is an insider. Hushpuppi has close links with Davido and Davido's early rise to stardom may have been courtesy of Hushpuppi's criminal earnings. There are many other examples, stop arguing about something you have no knowledge about.

If you have no experience of this, learn from what he is saying. IT IS THE TRUTH and I have known this since 2010.
I can name at least 6 artists that got funding for their videos in 2010 but I rather not because that would be snitching.
Let me name one... ICEBERG SLIM was heavily funded for his video that looked like Jay-Z and Kanyes video (NIGG*S IN PARIS).
