Tareq1105:That was the reason why I said the staff were unprofessional in handling the Matter. There should be better approach in handling the situation than they dragging her out of the plane. |

abc115:I said it here ibom air banning her , arresting her is one sided and unacceptable what happens to treating customer right, the staff of ibom air are very unprofessional in handing the case and mind if this goes to court the company and staff on that plane will be sued for damages, two wrong don't make right, yes she might be unruly, you pour fuel into fire by blocking her or arresting her as police or what and even bragging her , tear her clothes the naked video is enough to sue because it's now in the internet infact content creators are now making money with it |

torqque7:Nobody who is or was in the "powder" line of business like Bobo Chicago was cares about legacy. These people are ice cold, self centred and VERY ruthless. I can only imagine what the Nigerian treasury has had to endure since Bulaba grabbed it by the neck on 29 May 2023. |

Hussein052:She did. Airplane mode is more than sufficient enough to fly. |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by airsaylongcome: 5:24pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
AkumTemi:Putting her phone in airplane mode wasn't her following instructions? All those travel YouTube Content creators that put up videos of them inside different planes you think they switched of their phones? She put her phone in airplane mode. She fulfilled the safety requirements. Maybe she wanted to read a book or watch a movie from her phone during the flight. That's why she left it on. As long as she had put it in airplane mode, she was good to go |

Hussein052:Without all the videos, she would’ve been crucified by the public, police and government. Who would’ve believed that she was held hostage? Who would believe that Ibom airline staff assaulted and tore her clothes? |

I'm looking forward to hearing that she sues the airline and the aviation sector. That haste judgement that landed her imprisonment should be reviewed, addressed, and adjudged. She deserves huge compensation |

Weak and tirbalistic government that cannot enforce discipline. They are just evading taking action so that Kwam1 case will not be resurrected. The same way they have bn reintroducing fake "repentant" terrorists into the military without taking the right discipline. |

What of the guy that tore her clothes and dragged her down the stairs. Maybe they wanted to knack her. |

IgOga:I no kukuma de use them. They're just over priced but lack the professionalism to match their outrageous fees. Airpeace isn't perfect though, but I'd choose them any day to Ibom Air. |

JuanDeDios:Was she not arraigned in court? Go check dictionary for the meaning of trial |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by Mrexcell(m): 5:59pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
EmperorIsaac:Sue wetin? It's better to let the matter die people that are currently supporting her might back off if she goes ahead to sue. |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by AkumTemi: 6:01pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
airsaylongcome:Then her approach or response to the air hostess might have triggered the quarrel then. Because I can't imagine why the lady picked on her out of all the passengers on board. |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by JuanDeDios: 6:01pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
richiemcgold:Arraigned, yes. But trial didn't go through, as charges were dropped. I know you don't need a dictionary for the meanings. |

emirate9:She is one person, ibom air is a company which loss will hurt more? People are already starting hashtag to cancel ibom air, old videos of their airline hostesses being rude to clients are popping up. Their first mistake was making a press statement with lies in it |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by ElevationD: 6:20pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
Hussein052:Aviation staff are trained to handle passengers with decorum. They are not trained to obstruct the paths of passengers or wait for revenge over minor incidences like that. If you look at the video, you clearly would have heard the young lady say the words “ let me pass”. Why was the woman obstructing if not that she wanted to use some power. The young lady could have acted better to avoid the ugly incident, but she was led on by that woman, who should be addressed by her company. She handled the situation poorly. By the way, the face of that air hostess looked like the faces of those old nurses working in state and federal government hospitals. Their faces are always hard, harsh and mean. They are always rude and their menacing appearances put people off. We have always known youthful and good looking women as air hostesses and not that Mama Akpan. |

EmperorIsaac:You know hear say in her statement taken by police with her lawyer beside her, she admitted fault and expressed remorse. According to burna boy, you no get money and you dey run go call police, wetin you think say go happen…. |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by tnerro1(m): 6:27pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
Kaa4:Story , think say na abroad you dey, we go take ibom air to Abuja on Friday and we go dash the air hostess something if we see her🤪 |
| Re: Court Discharges Ibom Air Passenger by BuddhaPalm(m): 6:37pm On Aug 13, 2025 |
Hussein052:From what I understand, her phone was in airplane mode, and they insisted she had to switch it off. An unreasonable request. The air hostess she hit prevented her from getting off the plane, supposedly, so that airport security could get there. They forcibly pushed her back, until everyone else left. Most people in that situation would rightfully be upset. |
