Buhari also oversaw the massive uparming of the army. In fact these resupplies are actually under his contracts. The M346 jet replacing the alpha jet hasn't even arrived yet.

For the first time in Nigerias history, we have consistency in defence platform upgrading.

Buhari may be dead but his work in Nigerias defence still speaks loud and clear.

You may be right but not entirely correct.
I was in the picture of some of these purchases.
In terms of security, Buhari really tried in mitigating the effect of insurgency in the north east but failed to manage herders attack and banditry effectively which has cost thousands of lives and livelihood.

Are things really this bad that paveway munitions have to be used. Are these insurgents or are we under attack by a full fledged combat force, a foreign armed force for that matter. This is a major escalation.

If we can't have helicopter borne elite combat squadrons like I have said before then we should have the DSS/NIA should develop CIA like black ops to infiltrate and neutralize these groups.
