Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.

I have relatives too. Let me tell you a funny true life story. Their was a time a thief stole a car belonging to a relative who works with DSS. She said, lol 😂 , what her team did was since the car has a tracker, they knew every movement of the car and eventually obtained the thieves bio data but instead of going outrightly for him. What they did was always call his number and tell him, "Sir you are at so, so, so place wearing a polo shirt, and a jeans trousers, with a low hair cut standing at so, so,.........you just moved from here to there....... we will come for our car when we are ready" then hang up.

They kept calling the thief and telling him how he spent his whole day and night. The thief became so afraid at a point and started crying, he couldn't throw away his phone, couldn't run away, he knew that it was end of the road for him. It was very funny the way she told the story.

great news…..I think this DSS boss can best be described as a round peg in a round hole. He seem to know his job well by carrying out covert operations and also sharing credible intelligence with the other security agencies.

This is the same man some people full of hate and bigotry were all wailing and crying about his appointment simple because he is a Yoruba man they all love to hate even without giving him a chance to prove his capability.

No doubt security is still a challenge but this administration as demonstrated political will and leadership to decimate camp of the criminals and crime as been brought significantly lower compared to what we have in the past. May God continue to protect our security agencies putting there lives on the line for the safety of the country.
