I didn't say anywhere in my comment that there was a theft.
I just repeated what he said himself; he took the second watch with him and boarded a flight.
There are only two ways that could've happened:
1. He stole it
2. He "forgot" to return

...and I said he "forgot" to return a watch he refused to buy because he didn't want any complications with it being in his possession.
You can figure out the rest yourself.
Good luck with defending him anyway.
