Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has ruled out the possibility of any political figure, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, defeating Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Bwala dismissed recent calls for Jonathan to contest, describing them as a ploy to damage the former president’s post-office reputation.

These ones are scared to their pants on the prospects of Jonathan joining the race. How is it disreputable to aspire to be president? John Mahama of Ghana contested twice after losing his re-election bid before becoming successful again. If Mahama can do it, why not Jonathan? Afterall, Tinubu is far older than GEJ. Has the seat of the president now become such a dishonorable position that one would lose their reputation by simply contesting?

This man talks like a fool. It all means APC will manipulate this election.
