My design for A vegetable chopper carries a wooden bases of a plastic covering, with a handle knife in the middle, attached to a fulcrum that allows for easy chopping, the with an opening to collect the chopped vegetables and to put it inside for preferred size of chopping.
Plastic covering can be opened, cleaned and kept well, saves one from decade long of cutting one's finger and spilling blood in the food.

The Passport App

Bend your head, no no no bend am like this okay at the end you still end up with one ridiculous photograph as your passport .
Those days are numbered if..
You can make an app that allows me to just send the jpeg file to the printer via Bluetooth, pick up my photos and be out of there.
I don't need to smell your dirty background linen,
A passport is a selfie, I take a selfie in my house edit the background, split it into the number I want, save it and can send it.
Plus I can design one at at a moment notice for an online application.
pending the time, we can afford or make our own portable photo printer.

Creating Your own International NGO

There's nothing spectacular about creating and operating an NGO, Invest time in a problem solving you are passionate about. make it your business, be relevant, create sensitization about that problem, make press releases, document, protest and stand your ground. Surely you will find funding, kindred spirit and common ground. Boy are there so many things to be passionate about

Girl Child Marriage in the North
Child Wife in South South
Dog eating in the South South
Clean water..

Yes there's a documentary called FLOW, for love of water, focusing on the dearth of fresh water. Make that your business, go international, all you need is the time to be vested and relentless
Carry a sample of the water being drunk in Nigeria, and test them in the lab for lead, fluoride and other poisonous substances .
Take your finding to court and sue, sue, sue.
You'll get the damages, you'll get funding, you should get support.
Nigeria? Make that Africa, go international.

Priest/Priestess
One of the sweetest profession on earth is to be a Priest or a Priestess. All you have do is just sit down and read as many Holy books as you can, maintain a high level of spirituality, fast on some days. Erect a temple or shrine, in your living room Name it whatever, worship whatever ( Ogun, Ifa, Amadioha)
Why not, of course you should marry, it has nothing to do with spirituality.
Get paid to give people simple elusive life advice, offer consultation service, but don't do more than you know. And you should enjoy a wonderful life.

Novels/ Mobile Library
You just need a Suzuki every carry, stock it up with books/ novels.
Go to schools during closing hours with a Hardcover note, Write down the name, Collect 200 naira, and see you in two weeks time.

Laptop repair sale
We hardly take time to build from the scratch, with the cost of laptop, You'd think one Nigerian company would employing laptop engineers who are working with the scraps and trashed laptop on how they can make refurbished laptops, from all the scraps heaped in some shops in Alaba, and sell it

Oraimo distributor
Oraimo without a doubt has the best earpiece in the Nigerian market, though I stand to be corrected their Trumpet 3 earpiece made me see stars, that's how good that earpiece is, especially at night
Anyway, Invest big in them, meet the companies if you are serious and deposit the equivalent of a car purchase in being a distributor for them. And you will surely make money.

Dubbing The Lectures
There are over 300 universities in the country teaching the same shite.
Get a network of students to make a recording of all the Lectures being done in all the universities.

Then you create an online open University that is cheaper and ever more rigid and intense than the ones people pay to go to, because it contains the lectures of all the Universities combined.
His 101 - Dr Ali Uniben
His 101 - Prof. Jimoh Unilag
like that like that
And you just need to scan their exam questions and use it for your own students, there's nothing they taught them that your own students wouldn't know.
Get certified by NBTE and that's all.
You have your own university off the universities.

Simple.

Bread delivery bikes
It doesn't seem right for people to be carrying or delivering breads in wooden boards, or basket.
We can have little bread delivery bikes with a cage like box attached to the back with a stand for when dispersing it. For small bakeries that can't afford a mini bus, could be CNG powered

School Children's Food
Unlike the school feeding program that couldn't be sustained, A good state government would prioritize school children feeding as a part of student development. A working cafeteria, time table. With three course meal, focus on protein and vegetables

Subsidized but allowing the students also pay a token of 200 daily for food. Take it as a gourmet service even. Package it up

From Spaghetti, Moi moi, Potatoes, Couscous, Beans, Remove the Nigerian children mind from the daily consumption of rice, it's destroying them.

Solar Powered Escalators

We spend so much building them, but our flyovers are basically useless, when a woman of 60 plus considers the pain of climbing those things with probably an arthritic leg, she'd rather risk death than climb that safety.
Especially the one at Onipanu bus stop, it's like climbing a mountain.

Write a business proposal to the government that turn those painful stairs to solar powered escalators.
All you have to do is stand and wait a few minutes up and down, Involve other states too.
Now, you can enforce a safety.

Camel Milk

The key ingredients of Mauritania's Gavage might become cure or diet supplement for anorexia. For those who might want to add weight (I don't know why some people would want to add weight).
But camel's milk is another thing we could source from the north. Does it help with sickle cell disease though? At least for weight gain
Hmm

But it can sold, either liquid or powdered form

Air Travel/ Agent

Making the news at the moment, Air travel and it's agency requires the ability to register first at FAAN, rent a cubicle space and operate a tight crew of workers who books and seat people on flights name it Waz-air, Air Dammy anything, OR

If you have, or have some connect that could get you a loan of a billion, and you can Run your own commercial airline,
starting small, Get to Boeing on, get two of their 747, Pay for registration the whole bureaucratic bottlenecks, the park fee, land your planes and start flying.

If you want to make profit faster run an all economic 250-300 seater of Eid traveling Muslims to Kano at 50 thousand naira, twice a day. Do the same for Igbos during Xmas and you should pay off your loan faster and more.

How can you start a new airline business with two Boeing 747 planes?

Which routes will a new airliner that does not yet have a loyal customer base operate so as to always fill up the planes with passengers in order to break even and make a positive ROI?

It's very obvious that you have zero practical experience in running a business!

You are senseless o

When you buy a car, is the car driving you? or are you the one driving the car?
Which route
is it the airplane that will determine the route or a pilot?
What are you saying?
Are you telling me that if Air peace were to make an ad on Eid Promo of 40k flights from Lagos to Kano or Lagos to Yola they wouldn't fill it faster and even make return trips of even 3 times in a day, considering today's risk of road travel.

mtew , Maybe you are right. stay away from me.

Marriage Office

Do you know that you could be ordained online for free at the American Marriages Ministries and become a registered Marriage officiant.
Get approved by the Local government, maybe a CAC, if you want and you can perform legal binding marriages.
Our courts are too full of them...
Especially people who need emergency marriages for their travel or young hearts that want to elope. It's a side hustle.

The LAMATA app

This app could work not just for Lagos but other states with a working bus and metro service.
Few people know that from Lagos to Ibadan is cheaper by rail, From the Agege train station you can get Ibadan for 3k by a train that leaves everyday around 4pm
whereas they suffer inconvenience and risk road traveling for 5-6k.

the Lamata app helps track the Red and Blue line train movement, schedule and arrival.
It also tracks the Buses too, where they are, how long one should wait, and where.
It's the Lagos movement app.

Give them your design... it's a good one

Psiyohos:
I saw the post on Unemployment today and felt sorry for the average Nigerian Youth.
The government lied to us, and they keep churning out graduates with no plans

Here are sure fire business that will give you money since we can't find jobs. The goal is for you to target towns and villages places where these business are not many.

Let go:

1. OPTICIANRY.
Opticians make a lot of money some glasses can give you gain of 20k to 30k if you can go to a college of Health Technology and Learn Dispensary Opticianry.
Instead of going to Universiry go to College of Health Technology instead, people will always need glasses as they age.
Total cost of learning might be 300k but the gains are in millions

2. OBY/ XRAY.
If you can also learn physio therapy and Massage that will be better.
Another course in the College of Health that pay well. People will break bones and do pregnancy scan, you are sure of daily or weekly income.

3. HOROLOGIST.
Don't look down on people doing or repairing watches, they make a lot of cool money and they are not plenty. If you can invest in selling the watches you will be in millions.

4. SELLING HONEY
Take a bus at Ijora Badia from Lagos and go to Taraba state go to a local government on your way to Gembu called Ger.
Go and buy original Honey cheap there.
You will see it for 10k for 50 litre gallon

Don't leave businesses for the northerners alone
Study them and learn from them.

To living besides Nigeria. If I learn more I'd share
That old people care idea dey future-proof, no lies. Population go age and e go become big deal. Same way, shelter no dey ever lose relevance. Me I dey just dey put small monthly into real estate through platform, e no heavy at all. The way Lagos and Abuja rent dey fly, I just reason say make future me no dey stranded.

Underground Pipes and Sewers

Though I have explained the drainage idea, that of sewers takes on a little more open mindedness.
What is one of the biggest unending resource - Human fecal matter.

If you can get a underground pipe that collects human waste as cheap raw material for your bio digester. You could make make cooking gas and manure from it.
Target Market places and build free toilets with a submerged underground tank that collects all that waste for free.
You could also create this underground tank in big area metropolis like Ikeja, Oshodi, Mile 2, Iyana Oba.
Collect their waste, don't underrate human waste. It was the energy that powered North Korea

A Think Tank
Like the Madhouse in Unilag, you can make a company of like-minded intelligent people whom still double your collective think tank with their own online side hustle,
This kind of business, is the idea marsh where people join hands to create solutions, ideas and businesses, Draw out their plans, proposals and hand them over for a fee, percentage to either government or corporations.
They could also be hired to help better market, advertise goods and services
brainstorming on what best could work to push their business or product forward.

You just need a nice working space, solar generator and some indoor plants.
Names like Nexus, Troy, Jupiter are DecemberWind, OctoberSun are all in the liking.

Mobile Library II
Especially in this holiday period, I see many shops being left at the hands of vacated school students and they have nothing with them, Phones are expensive and all day long they stare at the road, the adjacent, nothing.

Even if it's with a bag back and a 60 leaves notebook you could run a mobile Library, A lot of us have these novels at home, gathering dust.
Approach them and give it to them to read for a period of two weeks, for a stipend

It is a way to enlighten and also make something out of a gathering dust.

Wrist Watch Making.
There is so much to being an industry that makes wrist watches, provided the material is sources from rubber or stainless, (all in Nigeria) all that could be considered tasking is the team of horologist designing the engine.

Why are our school children without watches, workers...
Simple mechanical gears could be done in Aba, Kano and we could build brand like swatch, tag Heuer,
If we are really serious... Why couldn't we be.
It's a ticking market

The Truly No Man's land

if you are looking for a place with no government jurisdiction, think down, think underground. With the right baulk pillar and concrete who Says you can't build a night club underneath a church.
From 5 feet below the ground to the aquifer is no man's land. It is not even the government's.
You can build an
Underground basement/store
a night club
You can run a metro rail line (my favourite)
A drainage, pipe and conduit system
An Underground vegetable farm
Opera house/theater.
Salon and Spa

The man who built the New York metro did it right underneath everyone's nose. it is fresh land..
considering you cast and protect the upper building and yourself from being sued for building collapse.
The entire floor is yours.

A Hermitage
some trees, a quiet and a rather large compound could be an ashram and serve as a solace for those who need a break from City life even if just for the three days leave from work.
People would pay to be away from their daily life, something like the Guru Maharaji place in Ibadan, a shame about the imprisonment and mind control going on there.

But this could be a quiet venture

Replicating The Afrika Shrine

Who's to say (dis your who's to say don dey too much) the Africa shrine should only be in Lagos
Meet the Kuti family and get their approval or not You don't have to give or remit a percentage to the family to replicate the Afrika shrine in your own state and have a Felabaration there also.

You too can be vested in the celebration of an African Hero, ehhn and with the way these recent Felabaration have been dry. You could organize a better, and more banging celebration, instead of inviting all these yen yen upcoming artistes
play the man's music, Get a dj to play his music for at least 24 hours. The man was a god.

How can you have a best Afrobeat list, without the man who created the genre itself.

It's a Good business, Fela is forever

A Jazz Ensemble
Jazz is the true black music, it rarely requires singing. If you know some guys, especially in the church choir. one with the drum the other with guitar, piano and the horn
You can learn how beautiful Jazz is, create your own ensemble, record an album and release it.
You guys could meet every Sunday evening as a way of making your hobby a hustle.
Who knows.

For the guys with the cash you can help run a studio session or be involved in funding a jazz ensemble.

Basketball team
A Male or female basketball team could be under your purview, like the Elephant girls, you can run a basketball team train for competition and source for sponsors.

Carpet Grass
Because cementing the floors is quite unsustainable, and expensive. Eventually weather cracks open the cement, Why not plant carpet grass and create the singular path of interlocking stones for your compound.
It helps when you have trees, All you would need is a mower.
It's sustainable, helps the soil, drains water better and keeps the compound clean and fresh.

Sell Carpet grass seeds, it's a common sense

Coffee and hookah shop
Coffee goes well with cigarettes and a coffee shop like the ones in Amsterdam where Cannabis is legal could be replicated here in Nigeria since hookah is permitted.
Playing Indian bols, Jazz, dates and ambience, It's a whole lot.

Cable Car
We have the hills, we have mountains, Ondo, Plateau, Ogun, Taraba, Calabar and Kogi.
But no one wants to take advantage of these amazing sceneries to create a lines and Cable car
as a resort and for young couples
The entire vista is for free. Even the Lekki Conservation center could use a cable car and also Obudu Cattle Ranch and the plains of Abriba area in Abia state.
