US Special Forces Hostage Rescue In Nigeria. by Jakumo(op): 7:55pm On Aug 14, 2025
A couple of years ago, an American missionary working as a volunteer with his wife in Niger, West Africa, was kidnapped, and taken across the border into northern Nigeria. This brilliantly reenacted video clip chronicles the preparation and execution of a highly choreographed hostage rescue mission that kicked off when special forces operatives breathing from oxygen tanks jumped out of an aircraft cruising 25 thousand feet up in the night sky, and silently steered their parachutes to within striking range of the encampment where the American citizen was being held by armed terrorists.

With American military assistance, Nigeria's terrorist problem would be consigned to the history books in a matter of months as drones operating with AI target acquisition capability would be launched to neutralize kidnap/herder/bandit gangs with surgical precision from the air, until there are no further targets left to annihilate.

The greatest country on earth.

How I wished we had Biafra, we will sacrifice everything possible to replicate America and all the great things they do. The focus would have been on acquiring indigenous technology, zero tolerance to leadership corruption and marginalization of any part of Biafra in order to make all Biafrans feel loved and cherished to bring out the best in them. When someone knows that his or her country truly care for him and ready to do anything for him to live a fulfilled life, he or she will be ready to sacrifice his life and all to make the country proud at all times. You don't expect patriotism from someone you despise and oppress at every given opportunity.

Biafra would have been the pride of the black race cry

Triba lism
Nepotism
Brazen marginalization of some regions of Nigeria

Unbalanced constitution

Religious division

These are the things that destroyed Nigeria and they are also the things that will continue to work against Nigeria ever becoming a great country of our dreams, sadly cry

My take
Why should I believe this yarn?

Some people are very credulous. They believe anything without asking questions especially when it involves Americans

I am not so credulous
Sounds like a Hollywood story
Notice how there is no mention of any input from the government of Niger or Nigeria

It is funny how colonisation has affected the capacity to reason

So nice to watch for gullible minds whose brains are switched off or for children

Just like those who believe Pastor Adeboye drove his car without petrol
Switch your brain back on and use it

Ekpa and Kanu can't do that for their Biafran citizens except to kill their Igbo brothers and call them saboteurs or is that not you are trying to measure?

You don't have to believe. It is true whether you do or not.

I read a declassified report on that operation 4 years ago, while you were arguing with little Gen-Z Agbadorianists on whose turn it is to become president of Nigeria.

It happened. I still remember the event
Our government Only knew about it after the operation and it was kept top secret from even the government because of the fear of sabotage from the government

You remember therefore it happened ?.?

All this suff you are claiming is hear say
You are not a witness
Either you read it or you were told
That does not mean it happened the way it was narrated
However you are not the only one that remembers

The difference is I remember what we were told at the time
I will not say it is true or false
I do not know I was not there and neither were you

You say our government only knew till after

HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS.? What is the source of this claim?
What we were told is that the government of Niger and Niger cooperated with them
The only thing that I believe is that the man was extracted
All this reconstruction trying to spin a Hollywood story of NASA and night vision technology is for gullible people

I wholeheartedly agree with your astute declaration that "Niger is not Nigeria", professor. That said, the October 31, 2020 hostage rescue that was executed by US Special Forces involved a US missionary who was kidnapped in Niger, and then taken across the border into Nigeria, where this audacious rescue mission occurred as detailed in Wikipedia, along with the Military Times website, which one can only hope you won't classify as a "Fake Noos" outlets, in your infinite wisdom.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Nigeria_hostage_rescue

https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2020/10/31/us-forces-rescue-american-hostage-in-nigeria/

In case you might be wondering how on Earth I stumbled on the above two links which explicitly authenticate that historic raid on Nigerian soil in 2020, I am delighted to inform you that my pilgrimage to consult The Jungle Oracle was not in vain, because it was there that these two links manifested deep in the foggy recesses of my brain around midnight during the most recent full moon, as though by magic. God breast Nigeria.

This is a nation where politicians are focused, and love their people and nation.

In Nigeria, politicians only love to eat, Bleep and loot...then remaining energy use to lie in politicking to Nigerians. Politicians in Nigeria love their money, their ego and cronies, Nigerians are pawns to be used by them...we need a better set of political class, these set are low minds.

I feel you sha!

Like, when a whole country can’t even transmit data, like the way me and you are transmitting data on this Seun’s website, then we can’t expect citizens like you to even believe drones can fly.

INEC was using word salads like “GLITCH”, to explain why millions of dollars could not send data for a whole country’s election.

So I understand your POV. Planes should only fly in movies.

Anyways, let me transmit this data to you (well to all/server) by hitting the submit button.

Ahhhh.... wishful thinking grin

Why would America want to do this?
That is the billion dollar question.

There's no reason, motivation or any gain for US to send forces, either as direct combatants or for training or any form of military assistance, into Nigeria.

Yes, USAID has been shown to be culpable in sponsoring terror in the country, but the current US President has done his bit by ending it.
The rest is up to Nigeria (which, by the way, IS NOT READY, OR WILLING to do anything about it)
Few days ago, there was incursion into a remote village in Kwara State bu terrorists. Same location got hit again yesterday, with multiple deaths and kidnappings. FG said zilch about it. In fact, Tinubu is preparing to go on another overseas junketing to Brazil and Japan 😁😁😁

Says a lot about the country, doesn't it?

Lol... The greatest asset of America is information. American citizens are not equal. The only thing that will make America expend forces to rescue you is because you have information they need which they don't want to get into the enemy's hands, so most likely dude and his wife were spies.
