⚡Belarus said Wednesday it will practice deployment of Russia’s nuclear-capable Oreshnik missiles during the joint Zapad-2025 (“West-2025”) drills close to the EU and NATO’s eastern flank border. Belarus, a former Soviet republic, is a key Russian ally and depends on the large eastern neighbour economically and militarily. It also allowed its territory to be used as a staging post for Moscow’s 2022 offensive in Ukraine. Kyiv, as well as Poland and the Baltic states, have repeatedly sounded alarm over military build-ups in Belarus, where Russia said it would deploy Oreshnik by the end of the year. “Of course, we will work out the plan for using this type of weaponry together with our Russian colleagues,” Belarusian Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin said asked if the Zapad drills would include the use of Oreshnik. In late 2024, Russia used the Ukrainian city of Dnipro as a testing ground for its “experimental” Oreshnik missile without a nuclear warhead. “We see the situation on our western and northern borders and can’t just sit and watch the militarisation and military activity there,” Khrenin was quoted as saying by Belta news agency. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Around Putin’s residence in Valdai, Novgorod Oblast, 12 positions for Pantsir-S1 air defense systems are now deployed. It seems the Russian dictator is indeed afraid of something, as only a year ago there were just two of these systems. Somebody is afraid of even his own shadow. 😂😂. Not even attempting to create a security blanket over Southern Syria hurts his credibility with his Gulf, Central Asian, and North African partners. Sacrifice a pawn. Make Israel shoot down a NATO warplane or attack a NATO convoy. Milk that for years. The Takfiri buff**n was given firm guarantees. He will march on Assad. The Gulf will provide the money. The Turks and Americans will cover his flanks. Sanctions will be lifted and all three parties will provide security guarantees after he has offended the Russians, Iranians, and Chinese. He did his part. If he knew he'd have to hide in a cave from the madmen in Tel Aviv afterwards, he'd have stayed back to enjoy his emirate and harem in Idlib. There he had security guarantees from everyone. From the Gulf to the Persians. Now he has pissed off the Axis, the Axis of Resistance, internal elements in Syria, Israel, his foreign piranhas; and for what? He does not have one Air Defense unit that he exclusively controls. Not one. Russian patrols does not solve his QoL problems. It only means Israel is now firmly entrenched in the South. And the Alawites, Christians, and Druze his terrorists massacred have the security protection needed [from Russia] to sharpen their long knives while patiently waiting for the Syrian Ides of March. Axis of Resistance leaders know Iran cannot guarantee their personal safety. They acknowledge it and stay within the network all the same. Can you picture Hezbollah while being besieged turning to France for "stability"? This whole Jolani debacle was supposed to be Erdogan's pièce de résistance. The geopolitical move that announced to everyone that the Ottomans are back like they never left. How long did that illusion last? Blink and you'll miss it. Even if he wants to wait out Satanyahu, he should not have allowed the Israelis to show they can ban his forces from sections of his vassalage.
