Message from Yoruba Ronu to Yoruba Ponu (The Sophisticated Mo.rons). So you’re still supporting this government just because Tinubu is Yoruba? Wow! Pele o, professor of ethnic politics, but can you point to even one thing his government has done that has actually made your life better as a Yoruba person? Oh, you’re still holding on to that ancient proverb, “Omo eni ki n se’di bebere…”? Nice. So tell us, how exactly are you enjoying this idi bebere you’re defending? Because last I checked, you’re still taking loans to eat, trekking to save transport, you can’t even afford a Tokunbo car and pricing garri like it’s gold dust, while the “idi bebere” in Aso Rock is adding more layers than Agege bread. Shey your mu.mu no too much? If you’re still shouting “Asiwaju, on your manhood we stand!” while your pocket is on life support and your stomach is singing the national anthem in hunger, it’s not loyalty, it’s spiritual bondage. This is no longer politics; this is advanced-level slavery mixed with witchcraft and a sprinkle of self-delusion. And please, stop letting those chopping billions tell you, the one licking plate at home that Tinubu is your best option simply because he’s Yoruba. That’s not brotherhood, that’s brainwashing. Remember, Ajumobi o kan tán ú… family ties don’t pay rent, my dear. |

Chivisee:We’re still waiting to hear how this government has helped you. Or should we just assume you’ve joined the “Laptop & Stipend Association” for professional online insults? |

Chivisee:As usual your mind only thinks in one direction. I am awake writing this because of thinking about how to navigate the economic quagmire I have found myself because things have not been working out for a while now |

Chivisee:this is not about Peter obi, this is about the masses. The truth is that tinubu administration is killing Nigerians more than the civil war. The kind of hunger that is experience in this regime is the worst in history of this country. Majority of those supporting Tinubu cannot afford to buy a wrapp of Amala in today's economic yet they are supporting him because he is a Yoruba man. I believe the northerners that gave Tinubu the highest votes will regret their action. |
