But Superman on the other hand did not have that expectations from Zaslav, Gunn, media and industry analyst. Yes, THR projected a billion grosser, but they later retracted their statement before the movie released. The expectation for Superman was for it to break even, make profits, and have positive critical and audience reception, in other to officially launch the DCU, and Superman met those expectations. So Superman performed in line with its expectations, and was successful due to breaking even and making profits ✊😎
