Walking speed, overdressed and calculating in naira are very very true.
I was laughing hard when I read that part working speed, is like he is talking to me. I do try to trek for some distances just to cut transportation cost, if you see the way I walk, lol believe me some people do over take me ta time despite all my speed, honestly it is very funny.

So no other set of human beings walk fast apart from.those who grew up in Lagos?
No need to argue about these it is fact it is not all about the walking though but even if you see an HAUSA boy that is brought up in Lagos, believe me there own life style is different. You will quickly know he is lagosian.

Stop hating abeg.
Which PH, Anambra, Delta and Kaduna you dey talk about?
I was born and grew up in Kaduna and have visited many Nigerian cities and I can tell you that Lagos is on another level
Don't mind him, I visited a place at night in ikeja not even ikoyi you will think you are in London, I was like where is this place, because I have been there for long.
I was born and brought up in Lagos, am an Igbo man but believe me Lagos beats other cities in every thing, it is only Abuja I have not been able to visit.
Anywhere you go you have that proudness in you that you are not a juu man,you re a typical lagosian

Hmmm! my own be say; the first 3times I visited lagos, dem tiff my phone for different the positions I hid them in my pocket those 3 times. So the last experience before I blend, i hung it with a rope on my neck into my shirt and that safe it. Not to talk of when I saw my cap changing heads as I try to run after it as the tall man I be.

Monday morning rush in Lagos alone will make anyone who have lived in Lagos to be smart anywhere in the world.
As a driver I have been and lived in many parts of Naija except the northern region. I can say it with full confidence that there's no city or town in Naija that's more smart and has street credibility than Lagos.
The rushing to board a bus by someone in other cities will show you that's a Lagosian or have lived in Lagos. A Lagosian can't converse with you for up to 30min without reminding you of how this and that is not how it's done or not done in Lagos.
I just travel to Abeokuta that is very close to Lagos, we went there for a party, I was surprised that a mini bus just park well well and waited for us to enter without being in a hurry that was far back 20 years when we used to have molue in Lagos, I was like haba this place is different, you have to run after the vehicle to enter and you have to jump down as well lol because no time to pack for you, otherwise you will come down at the next bustop.

No body should ague about this, it is fact.

Does your claim refute the fact that Lagos is a slum?

We are all Nigerians and wish for a better city than the Lagos we have now. You even saw hatred in my writing for calling a spade a spade.
Na hatred and envy full your blood.
Going by your analogy, New York and London are slums.

So in Lagos, when everybody goes to school, everywhere will still be noisy?

Who and who will be making everywhere noisy after everyone has gone to school?

Does you mean that no Nigerian is smart and alert except they grew up in Lagos?

That means Nigerian who has gone abroad will not be able to navigate their way because they did not grow up in Lagos.

What exactly are you always on guard for?
LoL Oga, Lagos is busiest when students are in school. Lagos is less busy when students are on holidays, do you even know the thousands of people in Lagos just for school?
The traffic during the holidays differ from traffic during school.
My children are back in Nigeria for the summer and they almost have no friends to play with most have traveled for summer.
Lagos is busy anything of the year

since you know Lagos and have been to Lagos, I am surprised that you could not answer my questions.

1. So in Lagos, when everybody goes to school, everywhere will still be noisy?

2. Who and who will be making everywhere noisy after everyone has gone to school?

3. Do you mean that no Nigerian is smart and alert except they grew up in Lagos?

4. That means Nigerian who has gone abroad will not be able to navigate their way because they did not grow up in Lagos.

5. What exactly are you always on guard for?
That is the problem with many of you guys. Where in the write-up or my response did anyone stipulate you must be raised in Lagos for you to be smart or what a view?

The writer only wrote on features that are peculiar to Lagos, and I’m sure every cities in Nigeria have their one special attributes as well.

It’s high time you guys stopped getting sick or feeling inferior at the mention of Lagos. Showcase the unique qualities of your village as well and let Lagos be.

Hahaha, you just reminded me same 20yrs ago when I was driving in Benin City. Sometimes we entered inside their street from bus stops to hustle for passengers.
If you're moving and a passenger flagged you down and you mistakenly drove past he or she, especially the ladies by say 20metres. OYO be your name, they will just signal you to continue going. They can never walk or run to where you're except you reverse back to where they're.
And it makes me wonder how those type of people can cope in Lagos where you will tear each others clothes before you enter a bus.
Honestly, I won't lie I love Lagos life die.
I'm from Abia state but born, brought up and still reside in Lagos. I can't change Lagos for any other city in Naija except it's Europe or America

But on a norm,an average lagosian no crase reach an average warri person angry. Just that,we don't believe and rely on mere words,na action full our body......

Love to wear scarf .... even during summer... notice them from a mile away. Walking pace depends on location. New Yorkers walk much faster than Lagosians . The loud talking ...especially in stores and malls.... everybody can hear them ...even the ones at the other end of the phone.

Do you know how many of my clothes got torn doing struggling for bus in Lagos? One of my best trousers got torn that clothes is still with me now the way l love that materials.
I have not been to Abuja before but I still believe Lagos is more better than it in terms of jobs creation and husling, unless you have already made it, otherwise Lagos State still remain the best.
There is a saying that if you no wise for Lagos you will not be wise anywhere.
It is fact
