Thank you, but I have arrived at the point where l can confidently say that, it's impossible to make money trading or out of the forex market.
If one is able to predict the direction of the bot that runs the Market to make $5 today, one must give $20 back to the market tomorrow.
How do l get over everything and have nothing to do with the market anymore is my only desire today.
I have to move on, l pray God help to destroy the urge/passion and addiction to go back to trade in the FX market. I have lost, trading the forex market is not for me.

Never date girls from poor family
Dating someone from a poor family isn’t the problem — dating someone without ambition, shared values, or emotional maturity is. Wealth can change; character and compatibility are the real long-term currencies.

Love can make your heart race, and money can make life comfortable — but neither can save you from the pain of watching your child suffer. Please, before you say “I do,” know your genotype. If you’re AS, do not marry another AS, no matter how much you think you can “manage it.” Sickle cell disease is not something love or wealth can fix. The hospital visits, the sleepless nights, the helplessness when your child cries in pain — it will break even the strongest hearts. Protect your future, protect your children. Do the simple test now, so you never have to live with a lifetime of regret.

I definitely "don't have a passion for medicine"
Wish I studied something I'd travel around the world and have a lot of fun. That's my passion.
Make a career change out of Medicine? Easier said than done
Medicine is beautiful and prestigious...You can still live your dream as a medical doctor..You just neeed to be focused, keep your dream alive and you will get it...another form of money is a contribution to humanity...Naturally, healing people, see them being healed by you should be what can drive a passion, as long as you know the ethos of the job....I know that the pains in medicine is deeper than the healing you give...Not have your time and for family, watch a patient you like die in your presence under your care, see a client who has spent so much money and yet not healed

Exactly. The possibility of your initial investment doubling in a 18 months is high. Better late than never.

Please make sure to buy from legit vendors only. Ditch 18 karat also, it may be cheap, but if you're buying as a form of investment, it's best to buy from 21 karat or 24 karat (Au bars only)

Honestly, constantly seeing illness is not my thing... but there are compensations - like, I know it impresses people to hear I'm a doctor...

Agriculture is like gold that doesn’t glitter at first glance but keeps paying you for years if you treat it well. Forget the image of a struggling farmer with a hoe — the real story is that agriculture is the foundation of every economy. People can postpone buying a new phone, but they can’t stop eating. Every bag of rice, every crate of tomatoes, every litre of milk you see is someone’s steady income. With modern technology, irrigation, improved seeds, and access to bigger markets, farming today can be as profitable as real estate or oil — sometimes even more, because food demand never crashes. While others chase quick wins, those who invest in agriculture are quietly building wealth that outlives trends, recessions, and even currency fluctuations. That’s why agriculture isn’t just farming — it’s gold in disguise.

I wish I learnt a skill like plumbing, welding, mechanics, building and being a Handyman.
I got to UK 🇬🇧 ove 22 years ago and have an MBA.
My regret was not having a handiwork apart from my excellent certificates.
When I relocated, a fellow Nigerian, a welder without education was earning twice my hourly rate. The guy had no papers but they employed him because the couldn't find a welder.
Today, I do a bit if everything but not professionally.
I beg you to humble yourself and learn a handiwork.
What do you mean by building? Is it bricklaying?

Good day everyone.

Was having this thought today and decided to share.

What is one thing you wish you learnt earlier in life ?

For me , I wish I avoided women during my hustling days, would have made more progress in my life financially and otherwise.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in life was to date a parasitic girl during my hustling and struggling days.
I was a young graduate of 22 years earning 40k back then which was quite little but I had a girlfriend who was very demanding. She billed me to the point where I couldn’t even save a single penny , I really loved her then and would literally give in to all her demands even when it wasn’t convenient.

Last last she still cheated on me and got pregnant for another guy, the heart break really shattered and it took me two years to recover.

Currently I’m in my late twenties, got a very good job and earn very well and my advice to young men starting life is to be ruthlessly selfish. Be selfish with your time , resources and ambitions.
I wish I learnt that early in life , I would have walked away from that liability of a girl and focus on myself.

Avoid dating broke girls who add little to no value to your life, be more interested in your growth and development.
(If possible avoid relationships during your struggling days)

What’s is something you wish you learnt early?
Especially from those we might call friends. I might ignorantly call you a friend. but am I your friend,a frenemy or an enemy you secretly wish to pull down?

This was one lesson i learnt late when I moved back. That University friend you thought you know then, might not be the same person after a few years of lack of communication. Sometimes, resuming such friendship could be dangerous.

Because you do not know this new version of them.

Make God nor let them count us join wetin we nor know.

One thing I wished I learnt earlier in life is living a PURPOSEFUL and STRUCTURED life.

The actionable steps I should have taken are what I am taking now, which are the following:
1. Setting daily goals.
2. Waking early everyday (6:am) and focusing first on the most important goal for each day.
3. Making sure my time is not wasted on frivolities; time is a limited resource.
4. Devoting my time to whatever I want;if I'm not able to attain it, I move on.
5. Getting good night rest( 7 hours of sleep)
6. Exercising at least three times a week.
7. Reading books to expand my knowledge.
8. Spending at least 1½ hr daily on tasks that will improve my knowledge and skills in my chosen career.
9. Making time to call and connect with close friends and family members (at least twice a week).
10. Making and trying my very best to stick to a monthly budget; this include setting money aside for savings and another sum of money for emergency.

Doing all those things I listed up there can be very demanding for me at times, but I have come to realize that if you don't plan your life well, your future will be full of regrets.

Is there a platform? Like an app or are there licensed brokers in Nigeria that trade in Gold?
