Fire Engulfs Yinka Ayefele’s Fresh FM Station In Ibadan by BewareOf419(op): 2:27am On Aug 16, 2025

Fresh 105.9 FM, a radio station owned by gospel musician Mr Yinka Ayefele, in the Oyo State capital Ibadan, was reportedly gutted by fire on Friday night.

The station, located in the Challenge area of the city, was engulfed in flames, according to eyewitness accounts.

One witness, Samuel Ibikunle, appealed for urgent assistance, saying, “Fresh FM is currently on fire! We urgently need the Fire Service to respond immediately. Please spread the word and alert the nearest station.”

The management of the station is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.

However, the Chairman of the Oyo State Fire Service, Hon Maroof Akinwande, confirmed the development, stating, “We are already there.”

This is the third term this particular station we got burned,, the owner should be investigated., I think is for ritual to renew his money. Moreover I don't know what he's singing that had radio stations in all Yoruba land.... Very suspicious

May God console Dr Ayefele and help him in this trying times.

Things are different now, many sons of the soil now have radio stations littered across the city and orogun owo is real.

They should also check maybe the property has been overstretched with the 3 radio stations and studio on it.
