Something to be proud of as a nation this early morning. We're not doing too badly considering the fact that our electricity generated output is some of the lowest in Africa.

Just imagine what we could do if we could do with 20,000 MW

So why aren’t they resolving the problems like Dangote
I don’t think you get it.
Nigeria has attained self sufficiency in cement production courtesy of people like Dangote, BUA and Lafarge.
We have now attained self sufficiency in petroleum production and refining courtesy of Dangote

We need other Nigerians like Dangote in tech, in food and agricultural production. Etc
Maybe I don't know what your point is.
But my point is, there are many Dangotes around that you don't know. There's a Nigerian proverb that "what you don't know, it's because you haven't come across it"

It is not possible not to know someone of the caliber of Dangote.

Those ones you are talking about aren’t known because they simply don’t exist or they haven’t reached 10% of Dangote’s milestone.

Like you said — you truly don’t know what my point.

I’ll try one last time to explain

Elon Musk is known not because of the money in his account, but because of the strides he’s made that are obvious in Starlink, Starships, Tesla electric vehicles. We can say that Elon Musk revolutionized electric vehicles in USA

Also, Zuchaberg revolutionized social media platforms as evident in Facebook, Instagram and general ‘Meta’ enterprises.

Jeff Besos revolutionized online marketing

The list of these guys and what they do can’t be missed or overlooked.

And you can’t tell me that people like these guys can be unknown. It’s not possible.

Back to Nigeria.

Imgine that we have someone (who is just like Dangote) known for milk production for example. Nigeria will not have to be importing peak milk from Denmark (I think)

Imagine we have someone like dangote in the Textile industry. We wouldn’t have to be importing all our textile from China

Imagine we have a someone like Dangote investing in meat production, Nigeria would have our Fulani headmen problem resolved and we would be exporting meat to other countries.

If you still don’t understand what my point is, then forget it.

That's very good. We will get there someday. Happy Sunday.

Modified: FTC finally after over 10 years.
From 1960 to today, 2025, Nigerian politicians have been campaigning with NEPA, Polehole, Road Network, Security, Hunger and Fuel supply. When will Nigeria get there?

Some people will still come and blame Tinubu say we no dey number 1, and their state no be number 1 for Nigeria

There's no top ten anything in Africa without Nigeria
Exactly.

The question is never if Nigeria is on the list.

It’s only about what position we are on the list.

We need to integrate machinery and AI into our manufacturing, that's how we can mass produced and at the same time safely increase workers pay .
Nigeria just established Africa’s first AI University, or is building it as we speak.

Solely for studying AI.

This is what we call Early Positioning as far as AI is concerned, in Africa.

Fair points. But we’re a post-colonial society, so we probably needed one “Dangote” to show the way. Expect more of such personalities to emerge in the years and decades ahead -
Industrialists who think Big like Aliko Dangote.
