Growing up, I was brought up to love God and do the things of God as written in the Bible. I grew up with my uncle and his wife who are now late but were members of the Methodist church of Nigeria (MCN).
I went through the Sunday sch and fulfilled all the required formalities.
I dare not miss church on a Sunday except I was incapacitated. I was meant to grow in same fashion, but after I left the house as soon as I became an adult and could now fend for myself, I began to realize some things about most Christians and how hypocritical and judgemental they are.
To be frank with you, there's no love among christians anymore. In fact, the church is now the home of Hate. The Theatre of Gossips. The epicenter of Grudges and all forms of evil.
Some time ago, a young man lost his mum and his friends on the streets donated funds for him to support the burial of his mum, I watched and observed in amazement as to how people who aren't believers would show such love. Whereas, in today's churches, nobody even bothers to send you condolence messages talk less of assisting you.
The "Street guys" show more to themselves than Brethren in the church.
I have seen women who can't stop gisting Inside the church while the pastor is on the altar preaching. After the service, same group of women father to gossip about other members. Some go there to show off their new wrappers and to be hailed that this dress looks good on them.
Some lie, by coming up with fake or exaggerated testimonies just to boost their egos.
If you go for counselling and reveal some of your personal details to a Pastor, be rest assured that your story would go viral. Street people will hear. First, the pastor will share your story with his wife or husband. And the wife will also tell her friends. On Sunday, your story becomes a reference to their sermons. Some pastors commit worse atrocities than even the devil himself.

If as a Christian and a believer, there's no significant difference between you and a nonbeliever, then you're just wasting your time.

These days, I would rather confide in a total stranger than a pastor or self-acclaimed believer.

Depends on what you call "church!" There are still great churches out there.

Even some individuals are very terrible. People who are churchy and seeing them from afar, you'll think they have sense of compassion and Godliness, but when u get closer, you'll realize they are even worse than the devil

The Most High has said: “I will put My Torah within them and on their heart I will write it” (Jeremiah 31:33).

The Torah books and the NT we have today is the corrupted Torah written by men to create a man made religion with churches and temples and not the Original Torah. Only the Torah The Most High have put within us the elect and written on our heart is The Original Torah .

So if you're not interested in knowing the one and only organization that's the real disciples of Christ Jesus Satan's trap is to make you feel irritated and stop association with any body of worshipers.

Last week i followed one of my fellow disciples to study with one of her Bible students after the study i notice woman feels there is nothing special about Jehovah's Witnesses because she asked one question that most unserious ones often ask:

"You people always invite us to your church but if we invite you to our church will you also come?"

Then i ask her the name of her state and she mentioned "Niger" then i asked my JW partner who answered "Rivers" next i asked her:

"Do you know this Rivers State lady could come to Niger State without anyone inviting her and will be welcomed by JWs in Nigers State?"

She responded:

"Yes, i know Jehovah's Witnesses for that, they can accommodate any of their members throughout the world most especially when such a person is a total stranger to them"

I asked her why Jehovah's Witnesses are doing that and she said because Jesus said we should love our fellow believers.

Then i asked her if she'll accommodate a strange member of her church just as she strongly believe Jehovah's Witnesses will do but she said the world has become unsafe.

So i asked her again but Jehovah's Witnesses are also living in the same world nah?

She said you people are different.

Therefore i finalized:

Do you think it's wise to join the meeting if those who don't have love among themselves? Psalms 1:1

Naturally no one loves a religion that's claiming they are the only group that knows the true God {John 14:6} but when we see the writings on the wall only dishonest and arrogant people will continue hating what is GOOD calling it BAD! Isaiah 5:20
I hope you learn more about Jehovah's Witnesses so that you too can benefit from the things God is doing for humble people throughout the earth.

True Jews today don't know any Jesus of Nazareth as this was an invention of the Roman empire, so your organisation too is included in Satan's created religions.

You have said before on other threads that the Jews today are not the real Jews, that's like saying 2000 years from now that African Americans are not real Africans.

So the truth is that the Jews today are still the real Jews and their True Messiah that will fix this world has not yet come.

It depends on the kind of Church you attend and most especially, the calibre of people prevalent in that society. For instance in the Catholic Church, there are Societies and groups that assist.
Most of the ills you mentioned in your post are prevalent in the protestant churches.
Everyone has their personal reasons for going to church tho. Perhaps their reason was to show off and gist

Apologies that I have not responded to your DM, I've had bad experiences before, just like you've experience with churches, which has now made me hesitant to respond to a DM.

I hope The Most High puts the Original Torah within you and write it on your heart so that you can do away with all man made churches and religions which are used to fleece the naive and gullible ones.

I can relate to your experience. Honestly, it can be really discouraging but that shouldn't stop you from going to church because there are no perfect church, pastors or members anywhere in world. I would advise that you live with them with wisdom and be strong.
