1-1 against Leeds. We featured a heavily changed side, mostly young and fringe players and I think they did well. I have been loving our buildup to goals, they have looked crisp and purposeful.
We play Chelsea tomorrow and I expect a strong lineup as we approach the start of the season. Jashari looked really good, I hope he learns to give up possession in tighter spaces but he showed his quality today.

We have completed the signings of K. De Winter from Genoa. We are closing in on Z. Athekame and what looks like a season long loan for R. Hojlund.

Leao went down and has been subbed for Gimenez. Hopefully, it is not anything serious but cautionary.

Our high press nearly gave us a goal there.

The 2nd goal came through from Pulisic. It has been a dominant performance thus far.

Victor Boniface is heading to Milan on loan for this season. The loan deal has a 30M buy option but not obligatory.

A fresh start for Boniface and a good deal for Milan.

Noah Okafor will be joining Leeds United in the EPL for 20M. I had big hopes when we signed this man from Red Bull Salzburg. He struggled with coaching turnovers, numerous systems, instability and injuries. He just couldn't get into a rhythm because of his poor conditioning too.

He just didn't hit it off, especially with Leao in the same position, but it seems he is more suited for the role of a super sub. The squad is taking shape, hopefully they'll perform well this season.
Any outgoings?

We have done some good business with our outgoing thus far.

TJ, Thiaw, Theo, Royal, Kalulu, Pobega, and Okafor.

End of loans for Felix, Walker and Abraham.

We still have to figure out Adli’s situation. It doesn’t look like Allegri fancies him

with blocks like fofona and rlc in that mid nothing really good can come out, i was expecting he would take fofana out be he took modric.

352 won't work for us, this Milan team cannot work with that formation

Very disgusting performance. After the first half I just comot mind because I have seen this over and over again. This guys just know how to make person vex and spoil weekend. We looked poor throughout the game. Gimenez remained isolated with no service.

Lol @ blocks, maybe we can try with 2 pure strikers or use it when we need to be compact against big teams, just no creativity at all from the the centre or out wide. Modric won't play many full matches based on his age but maybe we temper our expectations, afterall this is a guy that during his first spell preferred Van Bommel to Pirlo and really liked using players like Muntari.

Imagine playing with 1 striker and 1 winger against a team you should dominate, no creativity from the centre or out wide, they kept doubling up on Estupinan. How do you break down a low block with those jam body midfielders

Ordinarily, I would have suggested a back 4 but knowing Allegri, I know that is impossible. We looked slow and this isn’t about Cremonese but our inability to move the ball quicker into dangerous areas.
We have to drop RLC and Fofana, they hold on to the ball way too much and lose possession in dangerous areas. I expect to see Jashari and Ricci start against Lecce on Friday. I am not a fan of Gimenez but I don’t think we helped him enough yesterday. We don’t have another option, especially with Leao out and Boniface heading back to Germany. Gosh do I miss Pioli!
