*OUR MASSIVE BYE-ELECTION WIN, AN ENDORSEMENT OF PRESIDENT TINUBU-LED APC ADMINISTRATION*

The All Progressives Congress (APC) thanks Nigerians immensely for their decisive support which resulted in massive triumph of our candidates in last Saturday’s legislative bye-elections conducted across twelve states of the Federation.

This win is yet another solid endorsement of President Bola Tinubu administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda designed to deliver, and now steadily delivering transformation of our country’s economy and other sectors of our national life.

We commend the President and leader of our great Party for creating a level playing field for the bye-election contest, as well as our Progressive Governors, devoted Party leaders, members and supporters for their sacrificial efforts and contribution towards this electoral victory.

Our hearty congratulations go to our victorious candidates across the country, and we charge them to reward their constituents with purposeful legislative interventions that translate Renewed Hope Agenda to meaningful benefits for the people.

We specially congratulate our National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on this crucial first dominant victory under his eminent leadership as National Chairman. It is a strong pointer to greater things to come.

The Party applauds the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its successful conduct of the bye-elections, and hails all security agencies for maintaining peace and order, despite cases of election violence and voters suppression in some districts.

Again, our deepest gratitude remains with the Nigerian electorate and we urge all Nigerians to sustain their support for our great Party and Mr President as he continues to pave a clear and steady path of prosperity for this and future generations.

Will be no centralised campaign coordination in the over 778 LGCs in Nigeria.
This is just a bye election, APC shouldn't masturbate on this flawed and temporary victory.

There was live transmission of APC campaigning vigorously for their candidate in Edo State. ADC did light campaigns in Anambra, Kaduna and Ogun.

Elections and social media noise are anti-correlated. ADC and LP performed as if they were fringe parties. This is a pointer that they are not on ground. The weakness of the political weight of the arrowheads had been exposed. They have a lot of work to do.

Sadly, since it was exposed that NNPC GMD ferried funds to the inlaw of the promoter of ADC, the promoter has left the country and had refused to involve himself in ADC matters: a pointer of ineptitude in administrative competence.

ADC failed because their leaders did not prepare.

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

If Nigerians agree to be bought so be it. This is the genesis of where we are as a nation today. There is little point in talking about democracy or good governance when the average Nigerian has a price on his head to be ruled any how. We deserve the governments we get.

The often cited biography titled Madame Tinubu: Merchant and King-maker, authored by Nigerian historian Oladipo Yemitan, paints her views regarding slave trading.

On one occasion, during her final sojourn in Abeokuta, she was alleged to have sold a young boy into slavery and was accused of it. When arraigned before Ogundipe Alatise over the matter, she reportedly explained: 'I have a large house-hold and I must feed them well. I need money to do that, that's why'.

Another section of Yemitan's Tinubu biography, referred to as the Amadie-Ojo Affair, captures a slave trading deal gone sour in 1853 (notably after the 1852 Treaty abolishing slavery in Lagos) wherein Tinubu tells another slave trader (Domingo Martinez) that "she would rather drown the slaves [20 in number] than sell them at a discount".

Many people would like to know the quality of those they are voting for. Serious politicians meet and connect with voters. In 2022, Tinubu was going round the country to meet APC delegates, while one dude sat in his house and sent text messsages to canvass for votes. At the end, the man who met delegates won the votes, while the one who sent text messages won by text messages as he got zero response.

In 2022, some people said they no dey give shi shi. Between 2023 and 2025, he has done more acts of giving shi-shi than he ever did in his politcis. Same man said he didn't need manifesto.

My advise to you is do not campaign. People will vote for you nonetheless.

1. APC should realize that the extremely low turn outs were because the people disappointed and frustrated with the ruling party stayed away.

2. Money politics is still on the rise, despite INEC and Police promising to curb it.

3. The ruling party still controls INEC, something any serious democratic country cannot be doing in the 21st century.

If you just want to offend them, tell them to allow all the results to be transmitted from the polling units and let's use the card reader to determine the number of voters in the polling units.
