Russian Geran-2 drones have struck the Usatovo area in Ukraine’s Odessa region, targeting both a rail station and a fuel terminal operated by SOCAR, Azerbaijan’s state oil company.

This follows a similar Russian strike on August 6, when a SOCAR oil depot in Orlivka was hit, injuring employees and damaging the facility.

SOCAR operates energy infrastructure across Ukraine, including terminals and logistics hubs. These repeated strikes have raised alarms in Baku.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev condemned the attacks and warned that Azerbaijan may reconsider its ban on supplying weapons to Ukraine if Russian strikes on Azerbaijani-linked energy sites continue.
