Nogaard wasn't in the squad
No wonder, we would have needed his physicality...

You carry money £50m go buy backup when they hold saka we are useless
Other teams are watching and will do the same
Nelli wing was pretty free of load today Madueke try when he enters to give them reasons to worry small imagine a "Chef" outthere he would have cooked for us today...

Mikel Arteta has only won more Premier League games as a manager against Wolves (nine) than Manchester United (W8 D2 L2).

Nobody has a better win record against United in the Premier League (excluding those to manage four of fewer games) than Arteta's 67%.

Our defense gave us this victory. I am just glad we could grind all 3 points out of this game. Winning a difficult game like this is important for the mentality of this squad.

I remember arguing with Jodera here that compared to City, Odegaard is like Benardo Silva and that we need our own KDB.

Gyokeres would have at least scored a goal today if Kdb or Ozil was in Odegaard's position during those transitions.

Odegaard will help you control game, dictate play and organize pressing but his major weakness is transition and that was so glaring today.

Anyway, unto the next... I'll take the 3 points.

Ode needs to come central where he will have more options to pick passes and through ball... He's still hugging the RHS , Gyokeres had to move there ( RHS) late in the 1st half to get into the game

MSGAMBLE9:
How Ode play 90mins shows MA hasn't changed, we miss Partey physicality and control, I expect Nørgaard to come in for the ineffective Ode to stabilize the middle...

On United, omo that Mbeomo and Cunha if well utilise will come good for ( which I won't like, my whole family are Man-Red)... We reduces the space allowed for Mbuemo which neutered their attacks in 2nd half and rendered them toothless...
Amorim should lead that team to top 4 if he solves the backline properly. He can't be relying on Maguire and Shaw at this level.

But 6 away wins
All 6 ending in 0-1 at Old Trafford?
Wow. We own them. But I'll never be satisfied till we do that 8-2 back.

He likes to drift to RHS because of his one footedness. If he comes to the center, it'll be difficult for him to switch play. But cutting from the RHS, he would be free to either shoot or cross because the ball is on his preferred foot.

At some point today, I yearn to see Dowman come in for Saka. How I so much like and enjoy the kid play. The quick transition tactic we played would have suit him. Shaw and Dorgu for hear am.

We go dey play beautiful football dey drop points anyhow. Make we start to dey play scrappy, snoozefest football and collect maximum points, win na win. At least Arteta will not go and be doing press conference to say how we were the better team but things didn't go as planned bla bla bla.

But our frontline must not try the rubbish they did today in other matches o.

And when dropped points to Aston Villa both home and away 2 abi na 3 seasons ago despite playing beautiful football. Na we possess and dominate yet we drew and lost costing us the league. We don too suffer for that bastardo Unai Emery hand. Nothing can ever make me not dislike him

did you notice that we didn't play much crosses yesterday, we made more direct play based on transitions but odegaard, Saka and Martinelli killed it off most times. And that baby shot Martinelli made was unlike his game, I even expected him to pass or cross, but when he made the shot I was surprised and disappointed. Like, you're a right footer and that's the best shot you can give from inside the box?. Well, I expect a much better game next weekend against Leeds, like see how they turn up.

I want to believe that yesterday game was a one off
I can't even watch the highlight
Very terrible

Raya was superb. That save he made while standing and still able to get down fast just very close to his feet was fuckibg good, I screamed.(I no know who even shoot that ball, be like na Cunha abi na Dorgu). He really kept us in the game.
Zubimendi tried too, recoveries and tackles. Rice was really off, but Zubi covered up.
Odegaard was missing the links in attack but he put up a resilient game. Did everything well except finishing up attack.
Having Calafiori and MLS as lb option is fire. While one likes to hold the ball more to create more balance and clarity, the other likes to push as fast as he gets it to hasten the attack.
Kai had more touches per minute than Gyokeres and completed more passes and that is because of the difference in their game. In the first half Gyokeres was so isolated that most if not all of the passes he got was out of position. That stupid crossing from Martinelli and the one Gyokeres made after running down to the right would have made a difference shaa. Make dem still train dis week and know how to put up Gyokeres more.
Timber controls the game more from the rhs but white offers more in freeing Saka while in attack.
Yesterday's positive for me is that, even though the team was off, they still managed to grind out a win in a tough ground. That's the spirit and mentality we need all through the season.

Amorim did something genius yesterday, he knows Arsenal had better midfielders and he chooses to bypass the midfield with long balls from his defenders straight to Arsenal's final third thereby neutering Rice and Zubi effectiveness ( who both love ground possession play)... He simply takes the midfielders out of the game yesterday which favoured his team more...

If it's not a one-off big performance for them, they would be good cos their front 3 really make Arsenal to be cautious yesterday of all out attack...

I mean Saka has no business playing 90mins especially with United rough play atleast give Ethan some minutes...

That's the spirit

Who else noticed all the biased officiating and bullying we suffered during wengay era is what arteta is now using against opponents
I remember delap devilish throwins that cause chaos in our defense because our defenders don't protect keepers, fabinaski got flapianski name then
Opponents sees it as ways to enter and troll us, arteta is now using it complains everywhere
PGMOL even brought out there own rules just to limit us, white was targetted

Arteta is a practical minded coach. Wenger was an idealist

You're absolutely spot on.

Gyokeres can make his game easier by taking his mind off trying to score.

Fear factor I guess. Any snooze at the back and United would have paid. That Madueke's chance is an example.

No.. That's not his game. He is always trying to score bro.

What I think he can do is to just feel at home. He got a one on one yesterday which he messed up with a poor touch.
