Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), in Minna, Niger State, to celebrate his 84th birthday.

Jonathan, who described IBB as a “great and visionary leader,” commended his contributions to Nigeria’s political development and national unity. He noted that Babangida’s leadership style and enduring influence remain an inspiration to younger generations of politicians and statesmen.

The former president prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the elder statesman, wishing him good health and strength. He also emphasized the importance of celebrating leaders who have played significant roles in shaping Nigeria’s history.

Jonathan’s visit added to the series of goodwill messages and tributes pouring in from across the country as Babangida marked the milestone age.
