It's not even possible for any of the Norther regions to lead the southern region in this. How many northerners are on social media, that's where you will know this statistics don't make sense

They pride themselves in higher education than the lower one.
Frankly speaking, they are using percentage and the number of teachers compared to students will always be a factor.

They are doing agbero work. What do you expect ? Education has taken a back seat in that region.

They also have the highest numbers of out of school children in the South after NW,NE and NC.

Agbero is now a hustle. Everyone what be MC Oluomo.

That's why you see most of them exhibiting gross ignorance on everything. Because the teachers that taught them are less qualified.

That's good to know. We wish you the best as basic education teachers. Most of us didnt even go to school but have excelled far above those who went to school. It's a FACT you know very well. πŸ˜‚

They said basic education though i.e. NCE holders (college of education graduate) which is equivalent to OND.

We aspire for top qualifications in the South West and competition is high. You having a NCE in SW is as good as not being educated.

Why would we hire NCE holders when we can hire people with BEd and MEd which are superior qualifications?

NCE = National certificate of Education (College)
BEd = Bachelor of Education (University)
MEd = Masters of Education (University)

What I understand is off ALL teachers tutoring basic students in schools, that's the percentage of the teachers that are qualified.
By absolute numbers, the South will definitely have more schools and teachers than the north.
