It will be Teens week in my church soon and we're happy to plan activities towards the success of the day but the expected offering........ on that day is burdensome and making us stressed. Growing up and graduating from Children's Department to Teens Church, we were never burdened about multiple offerings..... Same church rolled out agenda for Teens Week and Day for 2025 and the agenda given for the day itself is the funds distribution...... after the Theme was stated. Now rehearing with Teens who are supposed to focus on recitations, drama, sing special numbers as this is where they showcase their talents in the church but rather we're worried about how to come up with activities that will raise funds to meet the indirect target given to us. I'm appalled because this doesn't allow them explore their talents and creativity but rather focus on the indirect target given to them. I wish my church will do better as these children aren't working yet. You do same on Youth, Men, Women, Missionnette Day..... Allow the children and Teens not to be bothered about money on their day please. Allow the pastors to work like in RCCG, this would help the church grow faster than making it a place known for contribution from time immemorial. You are over 90 years old and should do better. |

They ve started pressuring the teens, which would make teens go any lenght to engage in vices that would fetch them monies. |

Caaz:Ahnie, I'm so pained as I have activities lined up that focuses in them but now we have to strategize how to bring adults on the stage on that day to engage them to raise the funds with games so as to meet up with the indirect target given. Good evening ma. |

Esthered:Hi Esther how are you? It would seem that your comment on the thread I created about my sister needing a job https://www.nairaland.com/8500120/sister-need-teaching-job-biology was deleted. Do you have a job for her to apply for? |

Tenrack:No I don't but I was advising that she registers on job boards. There are many of them. She'll be getting daily mails of vacancies and she just needs to check daily, apply...... there are jobs I must say but people are top lazy to search which is appalling in this excess information age. |
