VDM works better than those parading themselves as right activist in this country, Dangote trucks has rendered many people lives useless and killed so many innocent people with the reckless kind of driving from those his drug sniffing truck drivers who will take tramadol and start slowing on the wheel I had an encounter with them when I was driving from Benin to Ekpoma during 2016 then I was still In Nigeria the both trucks occupied both lane trying to over take each other I have no choice than to run into the bush with my car for my own safety, the people who helped me to bring out my car from the bush said I was lucky to have escaped them, they said so many people have been killed on that same road by Dangote truck the driver and the motor boys will run away and leave you with Dangote insurance company to battle and they will definitely not give a dime in this country where justice is being sold to the highest bidder, they have connections and funds more than you so how will you win a case against them? Something needs to be done

It was pure scam to deceive the public. Most of the drivers are under age illiterates without drivers license.

On Saturday same Dangote truck on speed killed a young man crossing road to a plaza in Ibadan. The truck zoomed off without stopping. The road was a narrow tarred street.

Insurance companies have a lot of power and responsibility
They are responsible for ensuring that drivers are qualified and trucks are safe because when stuff happens it is on them to pay out not
Dangote. If a particular customer is causing payouts every month they know what to do
We need to understand and imbibe. insurance culture in Nigeria

Most of these trucks are own by subsidiaries under Dangote group not Dangote himself.

If I get a big cement depot, I will own a Dangote trailer which belong to me but bears Dangote logo.

VDM does not have the authority to do what he did and he could be arrested, prosecuted and punished. Law is not about emotion. Dangote as a person is not in any way responsible for what the Dangote Company truck drivers do. You can attach him to the company because it's named after him. Who do you hold responsible if Total Truck is involved in an accident.
