We really need many more VDM ... activists ..we can be in our community...or support and encourage those who step up. This is how issues get attention and change comes about. As in.... tankers blocked ... fuel supplies will be interrupted... it must come to the attention of the ogas.....Dangote ..and the ones depending on the supply...it will affect them financially and they will address the problem. Good move by VDM and those who support him .

Is dangote the only businessman that uses trucks for business? Why does his truck have high accident rates? Does he employ inexperienced drivers with no licence?

With the no of accidents caused by dangote trucks it is enough to file a major lawsuit against him that could lead to not just major compensation but criminal charges when people are being killed.

Dangote is responsible directly or indirectly. Yes the driver will be arrested and possibly end up in jail . It doesn’t matter if these drivers were recruited by a third party agency, that third party agency was contracted by Dangote

Mr. A is a driver of fidelity bank, Mr. A went home with the bank's car to take lunch, and while eating, Mr. A's brother came out from no where and said " bros abeg make I use the car reach junction", Mr. A obliged... while the brother was driving the car to the junction, he knocked down 2 people.


Do you know that in the above example, the bank is liable ? ....e shock you right ?

To really stop dangote trucks from.killing Nigerians. Long term solutions should be:

1.institute a class action against Dangote group for damages.All Dangote victims must sue him.under one umbrella.The erring dr8ver should face a criminal case.

2.Boycott his products aka stop funding his business

3.March to the National asssembly and state house of assembly to regulate trucj driving in Nigeria.

A bill could be presented to the houses of Assembly.March to dangote company headquarter covered by national and international press.Demand the sack of the human resource manager.

No, not possible. The drivers will go to jail. The company Dangote will pay fines, compensations and whatever the courts decide but the man Dangote will not be arrested and will not be sent to jail

Dialogue and court for wealthy man in this Nigeria abi for UK. Is the government not seeing wat has been happening over the years and keep quiet, are road safety personnel not seeing the fact that those drivers are not even licensed but they will hold the average Nigerians every day on the road for same reason. Now the masses have decided to protest out of anger and you called that lawlessness. I don't blame you, na because neither you or any of your family has been a victim that's why you're talking like this

My humble question to you goes does, Who employed the truck drivers, why are the employees not conducting a proper screening and brain check of the drivers before engaging them, a conglomerate company like Dangote should be answerable to these man even the driver that got involved will also be arrested and also investigated.
