After under go additional reqesting document you are told ..we are returnig your passpoort back to you come pick it does that mean visa has being granted or what

My interview went well. I just had a call from the embassy that they need my GPS address to my house for which I have sent them. Please if they come and know I'm single and live alone. how long will they take to approve my visa or how is the whole process going to be.

Never heard of them coming to address but like you said you are not married so what's the concern?

If he provided the documents requested, so what else is there to expect than your passport is ready for pickup.

There was a case of someone on an immigration Facebook forum i was on who got exact same message and went to pick up the passport and found out that the visa was not printed in it..

That's why I said I had a bad feeling about it. Moreover, that message sounded rude and offensive 😒 😀😀

Yeah by his grace. Social security is intact, already applied for state ID and I will get it in few days, I tracked my green card this morning it says it's already been mailed to the address I provided and that I will receive it between now and September 3.

I have bunch of supportive family members who take turns to come to our place to pick us and drive us round the city. I have been to more places in Atlanta in my 3 weeks here than most people have been to in 20 years.. 😆 🤣 😂

Overall I'm settling down very well besides difficulties in figuring out their accent and them mine😁😁 Na so so en en en I dey do when they are talking to me.

I thought about starting my own thread but I'm not that big on taking pictures and narrating stuff and telling stories. But here is thrilling in different ways than Nigeria's thrills..

I get to see most fruits I have only seen on Internet in real life here 😂😂😂 and in abundance in wherever you go to. There are some Nigerian food ingredients that are present here that are almost extinct in Nigeria. These are some of the many takeaways in my short time here so far. There are many though.

A capital yes. During my time USCIS also asked me to submit immunization cards or hospital records and other documents that recorded my birth and had the names of my parents on it.

After I submitted them they approved it in less than 2 months and sent my case straight to the NVC.

I was asked to do DNA during USCIS time years back now my interview is fast approaching I don't have childhood photos of me and my petitioner, I have the DNA results which was requested by USCIS..I hope it will be acceptable as evidence during my interview?

Yes. A DNA result is the strongest of evidence in proving your relationship with your
petitioner.

There was a lady next to my window that presented her DNA upfront when she was asked to present any picture evidence; boom that was the end of her interview. The consulate officer proceeded to approve her visa without any further questions.

Yeah, I noticed the Blue sky and I also noticed that it doesn't get dark until almost 9pm.

Yeah, I have family members who are in a competition to outdo themselves in rendering us services. They take turns on a daily basis to take us out round the city and back. The one that took us to a strip club is winning in the race. I have been to many strip clubs in Nigeria but non of them have I ever seen girls completely naked and flashing everything bare in my face 👀👀🤣

In my 3 weeks here, so far I have covered a greater part of the city than most people who have lived here for 20 years.

It shouldn't be a big deal. I know someone who was also in F11 category and was single with 2 kids. In her case, they went to her neighborhood all the way in Ijebu-Ode to ask questions of her neighbors. This was around 2010. She wasn't informed that they would do this. They only told her after her first interview that they would get back to her.
I guess they suspected that she was married either nikkah or customary. Fortunately, she wasn't and the neighbors testified to it.
One of the neighbors informed her that some people came asking for info about her and she didn't even know it was the embassy people. They phoned her to come for a second interview and the consular officer told her that yeah your neighbors testified that you're not married. That's when it clicked.
So, if you haven't lied about your marital status, you have nothing to fear. Remember that for F11, you must not have done any type of marriage at all even if it's nikkah or traditional. Because sometimes, people think it's only court wedding that counts.
