Nigerians have every right to move freely.

Nobody have right to tell Nigerians to not move freely.

Wishing that banner was reviewed before publicizing…..much errors and misspellings in there.

Which instead of wish
Right instead of rite
People’s instead of people
There instead of their
Diety instead of deity
Indigens instead of indigenes

ALL THESE JUST IN ONE BANNER

You don’t come to other people’s home to change their culture.
You either accept to live by their rules or you leave.

While nobody is against culture and traditions, restricting people from moving freely is a violation of their human rights.
Such festivals should be restricted to the palace ground or other confined areas.

Yet they keep asking for industrialization and development in Ikorodu. How can a city restrict movement within bustling period in a metropolitan city like Lagos? People wakes up as early as 4am to go to work....and also get home as late as 11pm from work. All these kind of traditional ceremonies should be restricted to villages. I wonder how people cope with living in that Ikorodu of a place. God forbid!
China, Japan and Korea have traditional festivals thwey still observe to this day, are they not far more industrialized than most so-called countries that no longer observe traditional whatever?

Your state where traditional festivals arent observed, why isnt it bigger than Lagos economically?

Whats even the relativity between a once-in-a-year festival and Economic growth? Which Sch-ool you go sef?

You have problem with comprehension. Every country and community have festivals. Even Lagos mainland has it's Eyo festival. There are various ethnic festivals also in Nigeria, but none of these festivals restrict movement in a metropolitan city. Rather, dates are set aside to observe this festivals. But what Ikorodu is doing is not festival, it's blood thirsty traditional ritual rite. In modern society, it's only the state that has the power to restrict movement. But because Ikorodu doesn't aspire to be an industrialized community with various developments, they continue to live in archaic and primitive way of life whereby potential investors are scared to do business or live there. Instead of you to read to understand, some of you are quick to comment and bring in your stupid tribal bigotry. You wey go school pass....well done sir.

If you're pained, go to international criminal court (ICC)
As if the practices of the said festival would have led to anything as progressive as the international criminal court (ICC). Why trying to benefit from what your practice can not benefit you.
